Mid Week Blogging

I'm really trying to blog a bit more often whilst I'm on my summer holidays and these are a few challenges a did on Tuesday.

This first one is for Make It Monday's Challenge #26 to use decreasing apertures as a focal point on your card. The video did also say about using packing tape (Sellotape to us over here in the UK) to cover the window with glitter, but my sellotape is only about 3/4" wide and would take too many pieces to cover the window and I did think all the joins would look very good!

Anyways...I started with the Mat Stack 4 die followed by Fillable Frames #10 die and finally the Fruit Fusion Berry die to make my apertures. I love how this one came out (apart from the smudge of ink on the final bit of the strawberry stalk!

Recipe:

Stamps: Polka Dot Basics, Mat Stack 4 Collection, Fillable Frames #10, Banner Builder, Fruit Fusion: Berry, Mat Stack 2 collection (inside)

Papers: Stampers Select White, Simply Chartreuse, Berry Sorbet, Fruitti Tutti Patterned Paper allf rom PTI, Chocolate Chip from SU

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Kiwi Kiss all from SU

Accessories: Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon (retired) from SU, Mat Stack 4 Die, Fillable Frames #10 Die, Fruit Fusion: Berry Die, Eyelet Border Die all from PTI

My next one is for Mojo #202 for the sketch and CR84FN35 to use Lavender, Celery and Grey. Here's their colour swatch from CR84FN...

And here's my take on these colours:

Recipe:

Stamps: Flutterby Friend, Damask Designs, Banner Builder all from PTI

Papers: Basic Gray cs and DSP from Neutrals Stack, Certainly Celery, Lavender Lace (retired) all from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI

Inks: Basic Gray, Lavender Lace (retired), Certainly Celery all from SU, Copics

Accessories: Banner Builder Dies, Double Ended Banner Die, Doily Details Diem, 1 3/4" Limited Layers Circles Die, Ribbon from Taylored Expressions, Gems from Stash, Icicle Stickles

And my final card for today is for CC334 to use White, Basic Gray and Tempting Turquoise, Viva La Verve's Sketch #1 for August and Totally Tilda #28 to use Swirls, Pearls, Lace and Ribbon (yes all 4 things!) and I got them all in as well. My primas were feeling a bit neglected so I pulled them out for this challenge, instead of the usual paper roses I use on my Tilda cards.

Recipe:

Stamps: Fancy Flourishes, Friends 'Til The End both from PTI, Tilda With Big Ribbon from Magnolia

Papers: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray both from SU, Copics White, DSP from Kaisercraft

Inks: Tempting Turquoise from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Lace from Cuddly Buddly, Tempting Turquoise ribbon (retired) from SU, Pearls from eBay, Prima Flowers

And that's all from me today folks! thanks for stopping by!
