As there's so many card challenges during VSN, I thought I'd split them up into a few separate posts. These ones are the challenges F - L from Saturday.
Challenge F was to be inspired the photo on the post, which was basically a basket full of sweeties! I used 3 colours - red, pink and white from the photo as well as the sweeties idea for my card. I also used Papertake Weekly's Challenge #53 for the sketch.
Challenge G was use the lyrics of the song, When my dreams come true by Rebecca Lynn Howard as inspiration. I instantly thought of this sentiment when I read the challenge, so that's what I went with. I used Viva La Verve's Sketch #1 for March and Color Throwdown's Challenge #130 to use So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Tnagerine Tango and Chocolate Chip.
Challenge H was the soot stamping one, which I didn't want to do!
Challenge I is one I'm going to do tomorrow using my first teddy as my first love!
Challenge J was to incorporate sheet music somewhere into your card or project. I made this card earlier this week for my Papertrey Ink Shoebox Swap for the PTI day a group of us are going to in March, so I just had to use it for this challenge.
Challenge K is the other card I need to do tomorrow, using embossed vellum.
Challenge L was use a kitchen or food theme. I went for nice and simple and made a birthday cake! I used the colours from CR84FN17 to use light pink, bright pink and chartreuse as well as old Mojo #44 for the sketch. This is the inspiration picture for the CR84FN colours.
And here's my card:
And that's all for this post folks. Thanks for stopping by. The rest of my VSN challenges can be found here and here if you want a peek.
