Flowers...

Just a few challenge cards I've made this week with flowers on!

This first one is my second attempt at doing My Time Made Easy's Pretty Palette #5 to use white, green and orchid. My first card was just ugly! Not sure what happened but it was missing something and the patterned paper didn't work so I binned that one and did this one instead. My first time using these tulips too - don't they just look pretty?!

Recipe:

Stamps: Friendship Jar, Friendship Jar Spring Fillers both from PTI

Papers: Orchid Opuence, Mellow Moss (both retired) from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI, DSP from Kaisercraft

Inks: Orchid Opuence, Mellow Moss (both retired) from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Mellow Moss ribbon (retired) from SU, 3D gloss, Lace from Cuddly Buddly

My next card is for A Passion for Papertrey's Wedding card challenge, Mojo #187 for the sketch, CC319 to use Concord Crush, Crumb Cake and Ivory and for Papertake Weekly's Spots n Stripes challenge - you could use either one or both. I just went for the spots. Not my usual colour choice for a wedding card, but I think it looks quite elegant - what do you think?

Recipe:

Stamps: Round & Round, Polka Dot Basics II both from PTI

Papers: Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake, Concord Crush cs & DSP from hostess pack, Elegant Soiree DSP all from SU

Inks: Concord Crush

Accessories: EK Success border punch, Button and embroidery thread from stash, In Bloom Impressions Plate from PTI, Concord Crush ribbon, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch all from SU

My last flowery card is for SC329 for the sketch, Stampin' Royalty's Let's Get Wet challenge to use watercolouring and Color Throwdown's Challenge #138 to use navy, white and a colour of your own choice. I just had to pull out my Springtime Vintage papers for this one - can't get enough of these at the minute! I used my new Fun Flowers die as well to cut out some of the medium sized flowers from watercolor paper and then used my ink pads and aqua painter to colour them in so that I would get a feathered look to the middle of the flowers. I love how these turned out!

Recipe:

Stamps: None! (I do need to add a sentiment I think though!)

Papers: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Watercolor Paper, Springtime Vintage DSP all from SU

Inks: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy both from SU

Accessories: Whisper White Satin Ribbon and buttons, Fun Flowers Sizzix Die all from SU

And that's all my flowery cards for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!
