Punched and Pieced Flowers

Just a couple of cards I made today for some challenges using punched and paper pieced flowers.

This first one is for Hope You Can Cling To Challenge #21 to use something clear (I used a clear card base for mine) and for Create with Connie and Mary's Challenge #224 to use these fab bright colours. I just went with something quick and easy but it actually took longer than expected with all that punching as my Boho Blossoms punch is slowly dying and won't punch more than one flower at a time. I have used greaseproof paper and tin foil in it to sharpen and loose it, but I think it's just been over used in the last 5-6 years or so since I've had it. Time for a new one me thinks!

And here's my card.

My next card is for Viva La Verve's Sketch #4 for October, Cupcake Crafts Challenge #215 to use paper piecing, Hope You Can Cling To Challenge #16 to use 2 of everything (I have 2 main colours, Wisteria Wonder and Crumb Cake, 2 different patterned papers for each colour, 2 buttons, 2 banners and 2 stamps, the flower and the sentiment) and for Just Add Ink's Challenge #141 to use these lovely colours.

And here's my card. (Wonky photo courtesy of my BF who can't take photos straight, but insisted he wanted to take them today and now it's too dark to get a better one, so will try again tomorrow!)

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by.
