My last Sketch Saturday Challenge card

Good morning and welcome to my last post for the Sketch Saturday design team. I have decided to step down from this DT as my workload at school has increased and something unfortunately has to give. This DT is my busiest, so hopefully by stepping down it will give me more time to do all the other things I need to get done each week.

I am sad to be going - I have been on the team for almost 2 years now. I joined the girls in March 2013 and they were my first busy DT, so I would love to thank everyone who I have been on the team with for all their help, support and friendship over the last two years. I will miss all you girls, but I will keep popping back to say hello! You know I love my sketches!

Anyway on to the actual challenge...This week we have a great prize to win, sponsored by our dear Niki!

Here is sketch #350:
And here is my take on it... Dedicated to all my Sketch Saturday teamies, past and present :)

Art by MiRan Facebook February Anything Goes Challenge

Good afternoon and thank goodness it's Friday! I was back at work this week after having half term off school last week and it has been so hard getting up at 6:15 every morning again! At least the morning are a bit lighter now when I get up!

And because it's Friday that means it is time for another fabulous challenge over at the Art by MiRan Facebook group. This time our challenge is our Anything Goes challenge and that means you can do anything you like for our challenge as long as it uses an image from Art by MiRan, which does also include the rubber stamps from Whimsy Stamps and Treasured Times Stamps.

I decided to use the gorgeous Fairy Lily for my card today - isn't she just adorable?! Thought I would go for a softer colour scheme to use some of my new gorgeous papers from Pion Design that I got last week from Live & Love Crafts.

This card is also for: Creative Fingers Challenge #69 Anything Goes Papertake Weekly's Take Your Pick Challenge - I have picked cool c…

Sassy Studio Designs Flashback Friday - Valentine Honey

Good morning and welcome to my post for Flashback Friday over on Sassy Studio Designs. Each Friday the team showcase a particular stamp from the Sassy Studio store to remind us all of some of the older, but still fabulous, images.

This week I have joined in a the GDT for this month to use the fabulous Valentine Honey, which you can buyhere. I decided that instead of making a Valentine's card, seeing as that occasion has passed us by, I would use this image as a summer image instead, just to show that a particular image doesn't always have to be for a certain occasion.

And here she is on the beach in her spotty bikini!

Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #270 Sassy In A Row - Guest Designer Post

Good morning and welcome to my GDT post for Sassy Studio Designs Challenge blog. This week the Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge is to use the bingo board below to add elements to your card. I used the diagonal line from the top left - add flowers, use a sentiments and use pink! How could I turn down the opportunity to use pink! LOL (I did also manage to squeeze in use a ribbon or bow and add a heart as well).

And here's my card using Holiday Belle Honey.

The Paper Shelter Challenge #192 Make It Digital

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for The Paper Shelter's Challenge #192. This week we are challenging you to Make It Digital. You can interpret that however you wish, but I have chosen to use one of the Paper Shelter's images that has been coloured in digitally by Veronica herself and one of the matching digital patterned papers.

I used the gorgeous Fantasy Perfumes digi and paper as I thought this would make an ideal card for my MIL to send out to one of her friends. These images are gorgeously coloured and do save a lot of time for when you are needing to make a quick card. It actually took longer to cut out the pre-printed image than it did to put the rest of the card together!

The Paper Nest Dolls Inspiration Post - Zodiac Collection Pisces

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for The Paper Nest Dolls. I decided to use an older stamp for my card today -Pisces from the Zodiac Collection and made what I call a peephole card, because it has a peephole in it to the inside!

This is the card closed... You can see Pisces peeping out. I added swirls for the seaweed and dew drops for the bubbles on the outside. The sentiment was computer generated as I have no real mermaid related sentiments - must fix that problem LOL

And this is the inside... I used sequins for the bubbles this time so the card could close flat.

Snowdrop Daisy with a twist!

Snowdrop Daisy has literally been twisted today - once as a twisted easel card and again by colouring her in purple when I know snowdrops are not purple, but I wanted to do something other than white for the flowers! Hehe!

Anyway this busy card is for... Di's Digi Downloads to use lots of embellishments (think I have that covered!) Die Cutting Divas' Challenge #203 to create a non-square or rectangular shaped card Creative Fingers Challenge #68 Anything Goes
And here she is. This card turned out pretty big in the end as I used one of my Punch Around The Page sets for the front and base.

Sock Monkey Hat!

Sock Monkeys are not a big thing over here in the UK, so I never had one as a kid, but they are cute in a weird kind of way. I loved this digi from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and thought I would colour her up today for a few challenges.

Sassy Studio Sponsors Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge

As part of being the GDT over at Sassy Studio Designsthis month, I have to make a card for one of the challenges that Sassy Studio are sponsoring this month. I loved the challenge for the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge which is to use dies or punches on a card for a kid!

I just had to use one of Lindsay's Frozen themed images and even though I'm not a fan of the film, I do love Elsa's frozen dress! This image is just gorgeous and I thought I would turn it into a birthday card, ideal for a little Frozen fan! You can buy this digi stamp and many other gorgeous ones just here.

This card is also for Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #268 Movie Themed.

And here she is...I went for a gatefold card this time and this is the outside... You can't really tell as my camera didn't pick it up, but her top layer part of the dress is covered with Clear Wink of Stella for a lovely subtle shimmer.

And the inside...

The Paper Nest Dolls Inspiration Post - Spring Bouquet Ellie

Good morning and welcome to my first inspiration post for The Paper Nest Dolls! With the new Spring stamps that Christine released a couple of weeks ago, there were so many gorgeous ones, so I had to use a different one for my inspiration card today.

This card using the gorgeous Spring Bouquet Ellie and I can see so many different types of cards that this image could be used for. My first idea was a wedding or bridesmaid thank you card, but instead I opted for a simple "Have a wonderful card".

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #133 Tic-Tac-Toe

Good Morning and welcome to my post for theFussy & Fancy Friday Challenge blog. This fortnight it is Beth's turn to host the challenge and we are also sponsored by Live & Love Crafts. (I just placed a big order from here last week and they are just fab to order from!).

Our challenge this time is to use Beth's fabulous Tic-tac-toe board and use the elements on either a row, a column or a diagonal on your card, or if you are feeling adventurous, why not go for a full house? I did the full house and actually it was easier to do than I thought it would be. Love how Beth has added real things to her board rather than just writing the words!

And here's my card... Some bits are hard to see but they are there honestly - my butterfly border at the top was dry embossed (you can just see the dots on the top of the wings). My yellow butterflies were heat embossed with Heat 'n' Stick Powder before Dazzlin' Diamonds were added on top.

In The Pink Challenge #63 Cute!

Another easy challenge this fortnight from the In The Pink Challenge blog. This time we are challenging you to use something cute on your card. I used a cute little fairy on mine - Golden Nectar from Hoe Grown Digital @Funky Kits. isn't she just adorable?!

My lovely friend Bettina challenge me to do a more shabby chic style as it a style I love but not one that comes easily to me. I think I have too much OCD to be shabby! I do love how this card came out even if it's not quite shabby chic style - i think the pink is too bright on the petals and ribbon for shabbiness!

Good morning and welcome to my Guest Designer Post for Sassy Studio Designs. I was double lucky to win the Challenge blog guest designer spot and the Facebook challenge, so I am going to be a GDT for Sassy Studio for the next two months or so! So excited!

For this week's challenge, we are challenging you to use circles. Whether that be a circle shaped card or  circles on your card is up to you. I went for circles and made a funky circled background using lots of different patterned papers. I also used the cute Goldie Sassy and coloured her up in lime green and aqua - a great colour combo I think!

Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite children's books - I must have read it about 100 times as a kid! So I love all things Alice and have now got the full collection of digis from the East Wind and even better their Facebook challenge this month is to use an Alice in Wonderland themed image!

I combined the Facebook challenge with The East Wind's Blog Challenge #25 Tip of the Hat, basically use an image with a hat on! This Mad Hatter Lucy loo is just perfect, don't you think?

And here she is...I seem to have a thing for purple and green at the minute too!
