Conie Fong Inspiration Post - Tori The Dragon Birthday Girl

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for Conie Fong Art & Design. Today I am sharing with you the cute Tori the Dragon. There are a few different images of Tori in the Conie Fong store, but I chose the Birthday Girl as I love the look of that cupcake! Shame I'm not allowed to eat nice things like that anymore unless I am being naughty! LOL

I coloured her up in some nice bright yellow and pinky-purple colours and just about managed to find some matching-ish patterned papers! I usually colour to match the papers, but just coloured this one without thinking of what papers I would use!

All Dressed Up New Release Post - Perfect Day

Good evening and welcome to my DT post for the new releases this month from All Dressed Up. I got to play with the gorgeous Perfect Day image and I love the Venice scene in this one. I tried to keep to the Italian colours of red, green and white for my patterned papers and I think they work really well with this image.

I visited Venice as an 11 year old, but don't think I really appreciated it back then as all I was interested in was feeding the pigeons on St Mark's Square. I would love to go back one day and do the whole city tourist sites properly!

Digi Designs Challenge - Summer Is Here

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog. This fortnight our challenge is called Summer Is Here, so we want to see some summer related creations. Think beach, ice creams, bikinis, flip flops or like mine a cool glass of freshly squeezed lemonade!

I used the adorable Drinky Mice For Two, which you can find on the mice page just here. I was very surprised to find that I do not have any lemon stamps (well I do really! I have an old Stampin' Up one, but I have no idea where it is. It might be in a box in the attic somewhere, but I wasn't going up there to hunt for it!) nor do I have any lemonade sentiments! Must find some good ones in clear rubber to add to the collection!

Anyway instead of using a lemon stamp, I went with a yellow colour combo.

Recipe:

Stamps: Drinky Mice For Two from Di's Digi Stamps, Playful Pinwheels from Waltzing Mouse Stamps

Alicia Bel Thank you and Goodbye

It is with a sad heart that I write this post. Today is the last post for the Alicia Bel Challenge blog. Alicia has decided to close the challenge blog after much deliberation. I have been on the DT since October last year and have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it.

For my final DT card (For now anyway. You never know what may happen in the future...) I used the cute Smug Little Mermaid. I thought this sentiment was quite fitting as well as I do hope to see Alicia Bel's challenges back soon in some shape or form. I know as a huge fan of Alicia's stamps, I will be using her images all the time!

Creative Craft Cottage GDT Post - Favourite Colours

Good Morning and welcome to my post. I was recently invited by the lovely Claudia to be the GDT for June for Creative Craft Cottage challenge blog and of course I gladly accepted.

The theme for this challenge is to use your favourite colours and the sponsor is Poppyseed Graphics. I was given the gorgeous Christmas Dreams image to use, which changed my favourite colour combo completely. Now I would normally say my fave combo is something with pink, but for Christmas cards I do love an aqua, white and silver combo. Makes it feel really cold! LOL

And here she is... This image is just stunning and I will have to pop over to the store and pick up a few more!

Recipe:

Stamps: Christmas Dreams from Poppyseed Graphics, Christmas Circular Sentiments from Lili of the Valley

Papers: Pool Party, Whisper White & Winter Frost DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place

Inks: Pool Party from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers, Silver Star Gelly Roll Pen

Accessories: Silver Ribbon from Stampin' Up, Snowflake Sequins from school!, Circle & Scalloped Circle Nestabilities both from Spellbinders
