Di's Digi Designs Challenge Ribbon, Lace or Twine

Good Morning and welcome to my new DT post for the new challenge from Di's Digi Designs. This fortnight our challenge is an easy one - you have to use ribbon, twine and/or lace on your project. Always an easy for me as I very rarely have a card without one of those.

I used the adorable Izzy Witch (found on the Hallowe'en page here) for my card and added both twine and ribbon. I thought I would colour her skin up in green to be a bit like a teenage Elphaba! Love how this one came out.

And a side view to see the easel a bit better...

And the easel part fully open so you can see my spiderweb in the corner...

I went with a more tropical colour combo of light orange, violet and lime green and I love how this one came out. I did print her quite large which made it a little more difficult to create a layout I liked, so kept it fairly simple for a change! This card is a 5 x 7 inch card.

Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - Breaking Dawn

Good Morning and welcome to another inspiration post from me for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge Blog. This week the DT are all making cards that are white on white except for the main image. I rarely make an all white card as I am a messy crafter and tend to get ink or something on it! LOL I do like the elegance an all white combo gives though and love this one. Did have to be very careful to make sure I didn't get dirty finger marks on it too!

I used the gorgeous Breaking Dawn for this one and kept to a blue and grey colour combo! Not sure if you can see, but the patterned papers I used have an embossed pattern on them too.

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for one of the new releases from Faery Ink this month. I chose to use the fabulous Roxie, Mother of Sin. She is the ultimate rock chick and one I was 20 years ago! I had the brightly coloured hair, had 2 nose piercings and 9 earrings in each ear, along with a couple of tattoos. As much as I still love my rock music, my sensible job means I can't get away with dressing like that anymore, so I don't wear my nose rings and have 4 earrings in my ears now and my hair is bleached blonde! A bit different to how I was and some days I wish I still could have bright pink hair!

Anyway on to the card. I made my image quite bright so kept the patterned papers dark and fairly neutral (they are actually from one of my Hallowe'en paper pads but worked brilliantly for this image!) and then added some brightly coloured gems and sticker domes.
