Aurora Wings Unicorn Sprite

Good evening! I managed to squeeze some non DT crafting time in this weekend and just had to use one of the new sprites from Aurora Wings. I totally fell in love with this Unicorn Sprite, so she was my first choice for entering the latest challenge on the Aurora Wings Challenge blog.

I went for a very girly pink and purple combo and used some of my Rainbow Magic patterned papers which have unicorns on the lilac papers, although I covered most of them up so you can't see them at all! I found some sequins in my embellishments drawers as well which matched really well for that added sparkle touch!

Faery Ink Tomte Gnome Easter

Good Morning and welcome to another of my inspiration posts for Faery Ink. This week I am sharing the last of the Tomte Gnomes from the Spring Tomte Nisse Gnomes Bundle. This cutie is Tomte Gnome Easter. I don't actually send very many Easter cards out as I am not a Christian, but my mother-in-law usually sends a few so she takes any that I make!

I made an easel card for a change and used some scraps of very old, very retired patterned papers from Stampin' Up for this card. The pack is almost empty now!

I added some sentiments from the now closed down Waltzing Mouse Stamps and the sentiment on the bottom layer says "we're going on an egg hunt yum yum" and all I have done all day is sing that phrase in the style of Michael Rosen singing "We're going on a bear hunt!" I do love that book and Michael Rosen's performance of it is amazing! Go Google it!

Whimsy Stamps Donut Birthdays

Good afternoon and welcome to a new post form me for Whimsy Stamps. Today I have used the fabulous Donut Birthdays stamp set for my card as doughnuts (spelt the British way!) are a weakness of mine, especially if they are Krispy Kremes!

I cut out three circles, slightly bigger than the donuts to kind of look like plates that the donuts are sitting on and then covered all the icing with Crystal Effects to give them a shiny glaze! Love these cute happy faces! I also used an embossing folder for the background as I wanted a sprinkles type effect and didn't have any papers or stamps that would work. I can't remember the last time I used one of these but it has been years! Love the effect, so I really should dig them out more!

This card is also for
Southern Girls Challenge Pop It Up (My doughnuts are all popped up in the circles)

Good Morning and welcome to my post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week the challenge is for you to use either hot or cold colours. I chose to use cold colours and made a Christmas card. I know, crazy right? I should be making Easter cards or something, but I did plan on making at least 1 Christmas card every month, so I had a small collection ready for next Christmas, but I have only made 1 so far, way back in January! Faery Ink Birthday Fae Arielle Bringing In The Spring

Good Morning and welcome to another of my inspiration posts for Faery Ink. I thought I would go for something bright and beautiful to bring on some Springtime sunshine. We have had a week of snow here in the UK - the so-called Beast from the East - and I am desperate for some sunshine now! The snow has more or less gone where I live, but it is still really cold, wet and windy!

I used the gorgeous Birthday Fae Arielle and used the bonus image you get when you purchase this one. Without her balloons she can be used for any occasion! Isn't she just adorable?
