Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge #190 - Anything Goes

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. As always the challenge is an anything goes challenge and although you don't have to use a stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, we sure do love to see them!

I used the new release Polka Dot Pals Davor for my card this week. My family are all soccer (football) mad so this one will be perfect for a boy's card! Our local football play in blue and white, but I know my dad and brother both support Manchester United (or used to at least!), who play in red, so this will match really well.

Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - Spring Flower

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge blog. This week I set the DT challenge of making your own flowers and I pulled out some long owned, but hardly used felt form Papertrey Ink for this card. I also used the gorgeous Spring Flower for this one.

A group of friends and myself all had a bit of an addiction to Papertrey Ink a few years back and would order every month on release day. I have heaps of stamps, card, ribbon etc etc but I hardly ever use it all now. It just became so expensive having to pay for the shipping to the UK and then the import fees on top used to add another £30 or more, so I stopped buying and consequently stopped using their stuff, although I do still use their stamps a lot.

Anyway, here she is...Can you see all the sparkle on her wings? I finally got a new clear Wink of Stella pen which is so much more glittery than the last one was! Might just be because it is new though!

Recipe:

Stamps: Spring Flower from Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps, Fairy Friends from Lawn Fawn

Papers: Perfect Plum & Night of Navy both from Stampin' Up, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place, Butterfly Patterned Papers from The Range

Inks: Perfect Plum from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers, Clear Wink of Stella, Pearlescent Chalks from Pebbles Inc

Accessories: Floral Flourishes Dies 6002/0160 from Joy Craft, Beautiful Flowers Stencil Dies BF03 from Studio Light, Bunting With Hearts Die from Fantasy Dies,  Lace from Brenda's Ribbon and Lace, Ribbon from The Ribbon Girl, Elastic String from The Works, Blueberry Sky, Royal Velvet & Simply Chartreuse Felt & Spring Moss Buttons all from Papertrey Ink

Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Post

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for the Little Miss Muffet Stamps. This week I have combined two of the digital stamp images from the Little Miss Muffet Stamps store to create this garden scene: Garden Border and Polka Dot Pals Elvina. I also added the face with the Polka Dot Pals Add On Faces.

This card is a lot more CAS than I would normally create but this image is also a lot larger than I normally do and I felt it didn't need much more than a simple patterned paper behind it! I just love how this one came out though!

Tiddly Inks Wryn Magical Day

Good morning and welcome to my post for today. It has been a while since I coloured up a Tiddly Ink image and coloured this one a little while ago now but only just got round to adding her to a card this weekend.

I have decided that this half term (which is coming up next week for us teachers in the UK) I am going to have a massive sort out of all my old patterned papers and get rid of any that I don't like or use any more, but the papers here are one I wish I had bought more of before Stampin' up retired them! Orange is not usually a colour i would use, but I do love it when mixed with these pinks and browns!

Anyway this cutie is Wryn Magical Day from Tiddly Ink and is such a cutie!

This card is also for

Simply B Stamps May Progressive Challenge - Mother Spring

Good Morning and welcome to my post. Today I am sharing a card I made for the Simply B Stamps progressive challenge for this month. I actually remembered to check the date this month as I forgot last month and didn't get to do it in time!

This month's image is called  Mother Spring and this month was an anything goes challenge. I coloured her in blue, gold and brown and then found these patterned papers which went really well with the colours in the image! Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - Little Daisy

Good Morning and welcome to this week's inspiration post for Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps. This week I have chosen to use the gorgeous Little Daisy.

The DT were challenged to use buttons on their projects this week and initially I used the yellow buttons in the middle of the rose trim, but they looked a bit like fried eggs! So I moved them to the butterflies and they look a bit better! I just didn't want to add buttons on the edges of the card, where I would normally add gems or pearls.

Faery Ink Unicorn Masquerade Party!

Good morning and welcome to my newest post for Faery Ink. It was Faery Ink's 15th Birthday this weekend and to celebrate Amanda released some fabulous new digis in the Faery Ink Facebook Group along with lots of games to win heaps more prizes!

I used the four newly released image to make a unicorn masquerade party project!

This is the front, which doesn't use a Faery Ink stamp, but one I felt was perfect for the inside! Quite a simple layout, but one that is replicated on every page for uniformity (and because there was no way I could think up 5 different layouts! LOL)

Here are all the images on the inside...

And now for the close ups...

Tottie in pink and purple...

Ophelia in black and grey... Got carried away with the dots in her hair but they do go well with the patterned papers!

Aja in red and gold...

And finally Zahra in blue and green...

Phew! I had so much fun colouring these images and putting them all together!

Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Post

Good morning everyone and welcome to my inspiration post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps this week. Today I am using the adorable Jr Hatter Kathrina. Love these hatter images with all their different hats!

I actually coloured her up before deciding on my patterned papers and the pinky-peach looked so much more pink without any background papers, but as soon as I tired to find a pink that would match, the orange tones came out more and none of my trillions of pink papers matched at all. In the end, I found these peachy-melon papers which worked so much better!

This card is also for

Recipe:

The Paper Shelter Challenge #338 Round It Up

Good morning and welcome to my new DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is called Round It Up so we want to see you using lots of circles on your project this time. I actually struggled with finding a circle large enough for this one and have no dies big enough to make a card sized base. I so need some Grand Nestabilities but they are so hard to come by nowadays, so if you know of any other big sized dies, let me know!

In the end I used a pen pot and drew around it to make my base and then again for the other layers, making them a little smaller each time by drawing another circle freehand inside, keeping the same distance from the original line. I cut them out by hand and think it came out ok in the end!

I used the adorable Hammock Days, one of the newer images in the store, and went for a very CAS (for me anyway) card as I wanted to capture the simplicity and serenity of the moment, reading away in the garden!

This card is also for
Pile It On Challenge #142 Sports/Hobbies (One of my other hobbies after crafting is reading. I read a lot!)

Alicia Bel's Little Little Mermaid

Good afternoon and welcome to another mermaid post from me for the Alicia Bel Facebook challenge. I'm not sure how well our team is doing in this challenge to be honest, but this will be my fourth entry!

I used the adorable Little Little Mermaid for this card and just had to colour her up like Ariel! I hardly ever do an Ariel mermaid and as this is very likely my last entry for this challenge, I just had to do it!

I'm still playing with my Distress Oxides inks for the background and bought 3 more ink pads this week, but I always end up covering most of it with the digi stamp or die cuts!

This card is also for
