13 Days fo Hallowe'en Day #13 featuring My New Haunted House!

Good Morning and welcome to my final post of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en event! I have absolutely had a blast making all these different Hallowe'en cards with lots of old and new stamps!

But...for today's post I have done something a bit different. I bought this MDF Haunted House in a graveyard scene and have added all the little Funko Pop miniature figures that I got in my 13 Day Spooky Countdown Calendar to it. I had to put David from The Lost Boys in the chimney as I couldn't make it look like he was flying!

The tree is really huge and blocks a few of the other characters so I have taken a couple of side views for you to see them.

And from the other side

I actually took the tree off in the end and put it at the back of the house so that I could fit all the characters on better and have added blu-tack to their feet so they don't keep falling over. Some of them are really top heavy!

While I love my Funko Pop figures I was a bit disappointed with this collection because we got 2 Pennywise characters, which I didn't think we needed. There are so many other Horror/Hallowe'en themed characters they could have used instead of the second Pennywise!

I have the Nightmare Before Christmas Advent Calendar all ready to be opened on December first, but after my disaster at making a box for last year's Harry Potter one, I have no idea how to display those one. Hopefully I'll find something that will work like this house kit!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you all again soon!

13 Days of Hallowe'en Day #12 Featuring Balloon Bunch Halloween from Clearly Besotted

Good morning and welcome to my penultimate post of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en feature! Today's card features another of my Clearly Besotted Hallowe'en stamp sets. This one is the adorable Balloon Bunch Halloween with lots of Hallowe'en themed balloons and witchy cats!

I did a really quick inked cloudy sky using my Distress Oxide Inks and did the same for the grass as well. To do the moon, I used a circle stencil and then used the insert to cover over the moon to ink the sky around it. The stars and bats were added after I had done the sky and the bats were coloured using a Copic Fineliner Pen, while the stars were coloured with a Silver Star Gelly Roll Pen. I love these little cuties - they look like they are having so much fun!

13 Days of Hallowe'en Day #11 Featuring Witchy Newton from Newton's Nook Designs

Good morning and welcome to Day #11 of my13 Days of Hallowe'en. I have to say I have truly loved making all these Hallowe'en cards this year, but have so many more images that I have coloured or still want to colour, so I might just make a few more for the fun of it!

This card was quite a quick one to make and I managed to use up a few scraps of patterned paper on it as well. I never really know what to do with those pieces that are too small for a big layer, but too big to throw away! But this A6 sized layout lent itself well to using scraps! I so want some witchy boots like these as well!

Good morning and welcome to Day #10 of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en. Today's card featuring a cute set from Clearly Besotted which was the free gift when I purchased the whole new release bundle back in September.

I thought I would make these images into cute, little Polaroid photos and then added a little Hallowe'en themed word to each one. They fit perfectly on an A6 sized card and didn't need much more in terms of layering patterned papers or embellishments.

This card is for

13 Days of Hallowe'en Day #9 Featuring Halloween Unicorn from Pink Gem Designs

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day #9 of my 13 days of Hallowe'en feature! Today I went for a cutesy image from Pink Gem Designs, Hallowe'en Unicorn! How cute is this one! I added in lots of light purple clouds rather than a night time sky so that her wings really popped against the background.

As the stars in the sky were so small and kind of got lost in the clouds, I added some orange sequins instead and then added a few dots of my Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen!

Stamps: Halloween Unicorn from Pink Gem Designs, Best Halloween from Clearly Besotted

Papers: Royal Velvet from Papertrey Ink, Pumpkin Pie, Witches Brew DSP (Retired) & Cast-A-Spell DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

13 Days of Hallowe'en Day #8 Featuring Trick or Treat from The Greeting Farm

Good morning and welcome to today's 13 Days of Hallowe'en post. Today's post features an adorable digi stamp set from The Greeting Farm and instead of a card I made a picture/poster type thing to go with our Funko Pop figures that my boyfriend requested!

I showed him the Ghostbusters images from the set and he wanted me to make something to go on the wall and this is what I came up with! We're both big fans of Ghostbusters, me maybe more than him, so I just had to use Mr Stay Puft down on the streets of New York, walking through the skyscrapers, being hunted by the Ghostbusters! The skyscrapers were just rectangles that I added into the scene using Word and then I added the windows when I coloured them.

This project is for

13 Days of Hallowe'en Day #7 Featuring Halloween Party from Hello Bluebird

Good Morning and welcome to Day #7 of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en. Today I using one of my few sets from Hello Bluebird for this card. You can't buy Hello Bluebird Stamps here in the UK and the only company in Europe that sells them doesn't have many sets in at all, so I am lucky I managed to get the 5 or so sets that I have! I think once all this pandemic situation has calmed down a bit I will have to suck up the import fees and order some direct! I hate having to pay all those extra costs, but it's the only way to get these gorgeous stamps!

I don't often stamp scenes like this because it involves lots of masking and to be honest I am too lazy to do it all, but I'm so glad I did on this one as I love how it came out in the end! It's a fairly large card, 5 x 7 inches but the actual stamped image is about 4.5 x 6 inches so nearly filled the whole card!

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Halloween Party from Hello Bluebird, Balloon Bunch & Creepy Corners both from Clearly Besotted

13 Days of Hallowe'en Day #6 Featuring Treats Please from Clearly Besotted

Good Morning and welcome to Day #6 of my countdown to Hallowe'en! Every year Clearly Besotted have a fabulous release of Hallowe'en sets and every year I just have to buy them all! This was one of this year's sets - Treats Please, featuring different animal characters all dressed up for Hallowe'en and knocking on doors for their treats!

I made an A6 sized card for this one as I thought the stamped image looked better on this size. I don't make this size card very often as I find them too small for the amount of layers I like to add, but it worked well on this card. I freehand drew the bricks, but once I had finished I remember that I had a brick wall stencil and probably should have used that for more conformity, but I still like how it came out!

This card is for

13 Days of Hallowe'en Day #5 Featuring Mumford from Sweet November Stamps

Good Morning and welcome to my fifth post in my 13 Days of Hallowe'en feature. I love anything to do with Hallowe'en but mummies are not a character I have many stamps, rubber or digi, of, so I just had to buy this one from Sweet November Stamps to add to my collection!

I added some elements from the Hallowe'en background collection, which I got last year and then drew in some gravestones to make it look as if he was walking through a deserted graveyard. I probably should have added in another tree or a fence really, but I do like how it came out.

This card is for

Recipe:

Scene It Sunday #18 Featuring Woodland Animals from Pretty Grafik

Good morning and happy Sunday! Welcome to today's Scene It Sunday post. I found this digi stamp company, Pretty Grafik, on Etsy a while ago and they have some really cute digi/clipart sets. This Woodland Animals set is adorable, so I added a few of the background elements and animals together to make this cute DL sized card.

I added in the bushes myself but need to practise colouring these a bit more as I wasn't particularly happy about how they came out. The sentiment came from a Tracey Hey set which I thought went perfectly with this scene!

Something Else on Saturday #78 & Faery Ink Inspiration post Featuring Jingle Bells Elf Arielle

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post which also falls on the same day as my Faery Ink inspiration post, so I thought I would combine the two! This month's new releases from Faery Ink are all winter/Christmas themed ones and while I don't usually start my Christmas cards until Hallowe'en has finished, I really enjoyed making this one with all the snowflake die cuts and sparkles!

I love using non-traditional colours for my Christmas cards and pink, silver and white is probably my favourite combo, quickly followed by red, aqua and white! I still have most of this paper pack left that I bought a few years ago, so dug it back out and then added lots of my die cuts snowflakes. I couldn't decide whether to put any card or patterned paper behind the frame, but I kind of liked it without anything for a change!

Scene It Sunday #18 Featuring Queen Amunet from Sweet November Stamps

Good afternoon and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post! I am so behind with my blogging at the minute for no particular reason other than generally being busy. I completely missed this post last Sunday, but hopefully will get back on track!

Today I am sharing an A4 sized colouring I did a little while ago using the gorgeous Queen Amunet from Sweet November Stamps. The first topic my Year 3 class have this school year is the Ancient Egyptians, so I thought this would make a great picture for my school display board! I added the pyramids and hieroglyphs in the background as I knew I would not be able to draw these myself!

She is now mounted and laminated and on my Egyptian Art wall - the children loved her! I don't often colour anything this big and while I really enjoyed doing it, it did take me all day! I had to laminate her so I wouldn't have to do another one!
