Something Else on Saturday #198 Featuring Delish from Penny Black

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. This week I have dug out a stamp that I bought ages and ages ago and have never used. Once upon a time I used to use Penny Black stamps a lot and have loads of the wood mounted ones somewhere, but I haven't used one in so long! I thought these cute little fairy bears were just adorable though!

I used one of my favourite paper packs from Lili of the Valley/NitWit Collections, Country Meadow, as well, but I'm getting low on this now! And that ribbon is just gorgeous, but one I don't use very often either! You know, it's fun finding old stuff in my craft stash that I had forgotten about!

A Little Late on Monday

Once again I never got round to uploading my cards to my blog on Sunday as I had a ton of school work to do (planning, marking, going to Tesco to buy ingredients for Chocolate Cornflake cakes etc) so I am probably a little late on some of these challenges, but nevermind.

My first card is for Color Throwdown's Challenge #161 to use Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade and Chocolate Chip (loved this combo, although I would NEVER have chosen it myself), Papertake Weekly's Sketch Challenge and Cupcake Craft's Challenge #161 to use a teddy bear (which I am definitely late for).

My next card is for Farm Fresh's Challenge to CASE a card from any previous or current DT member. I totally loved this card by Rachel when she did the Hallowe'en challenge the other week, so dug out my Roll Call Set to come up with this take on it. I also use CC342 for the colours, which were to use Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party.

My next 2 cards are for the Fabulous cause Hope You Can Cling To Card Drive over on SCS. Throughout the month of October a challenge will be posted every day and at the end of October you should have a huge pile of cards to send to the Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. A very worthwhile cause which I intend on fully participating in again this year. I think last year I sent off about 60 cards and should do so again this year!

This one is for Challenge A which was to use a pink animal, for Cute Card Thursday Challenge #184 to use an animal as well and SC352 for the sketch. As pink is the colour to show support for breast cancer I am going to try and make all my Hope cards a shade of pink and finally use some of the huge pile of Bazzill Bling cardstock that I have, not to mention all the pink patterned papers!

And my final card for today is for Hope Challenge B to use pink and bling and for Just Magnolia's Sketch Challenge. I just randomly picked some patterned paper for this one and matched the colours and I love the pink and peach together!
