The Paper Shelter Challenge #646 - Thank You

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is Thank You, which is perfect timing for me as we get closer to the end of the school year and I need lots of thank you cards to hand out to various staff members and my team!

This card is for my teaching assistant Becca, who is a huge fan of the book Fourth Wing. I've not read it as yet (it is on my summer to-be-read list), but I know there's dragons in it! Scene It Sunday #199 Featuring Micey's Mailbox from Di's Digi Stamps

Good morning and welcome to today's Scene It Sunday post. This week I am sharing a card I made for a work colleague using this cute digi from Di's Digi Stamps. I am trying to use images that I have had for a while but not yet used and this is one I have had for a little while now.

I am trying to also use up some of my old Stampin' Up patterned papers, so am using ones that I probably wouldn't normally use. However, I do think these colours go perfectly with this image - I always colour up my images before making my card, so sometimes I have to hunt through all my papers finding ones that match the colours I have used. This one was an easy match though!

Scene It Sunday #139 featuring Super Striker from Lili of the Valley

Good morning and Happy Sunday! Back to work tomorrow after having my 2 week Easter break from school. Not sure how I'll cope with getting back up at 6am every morning again, but needs must! Will take me about a week to get back into the swing of it all again!

Anyway....this week's Scene It Sunday post uses another of my many Lili of the Valley images. This time, Super Striker, to refill my boys card stash as my mother-in-law keeps taking the ones I make as she has SO many grandsons (something crazy like 11 grandsons and then 3 or so great-grandsons as well as the 3 sons of her own! And there's girls too! Yep a huge family!)

I did keep this one fairly simple as the actual stamp was fairly big! Just a few buttons in the corner and a sentiment in the opposite one!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #546 - Colours of Spring

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is to use colours of Spring and you can choose whatever colours you like as long as they have that Springtime feeling to them!

I went for one of my favourite colour combos at the minute - pink, peach and light green - which are totally inspired by this new paper pad that I bought a couple of weeks ago and keep on using! I used the gorgeous Spring Swing and added some pretty resin flowers that I found in my random flower box, which matched really well. Papers: Calypso Coral & Mint Macaron both from Stampin' Up, Let It Be Flowers Patterned Papers from Make & Create, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty
