The Paper Shelter Challenge #667 - Anything Goes With the Optional Twist of Tic-Tac-Toe

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This fortnight our challenge is our usual Anything Goes challenge and the optional twist this time is to use the tic-tac-toe board below. You can cross in a horizontal line, vertical line or diagonal, but if you are feeling especially inspired, why not try all 9 squares!

For my card, I used the adorable Ready For School, but thought this doesn't necessarily need to be a school themed card at all. For this one, I managed to include ribbon, pretty papers, hand-coloured image, spots or stripes (both actually) and die cuts. I just love these colours together as well.

Recipe:

Stamps: Ready For School from The Paper Shelter

The Paper Shelter Challenge #666 - Anything Goes With the Optional Twist of Embossing

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This fortnight our challenge is our usual Anything Goes challenge, but the optional twist this time is to include embossing, either hot or cold,  into your card or project somewhere.

I bought this new embossing folder and stencil combo from Spellbinders a little while ago and never got round to using it for my 1 Valentine's Day card that I made. Generally here in the UK, we only tend to send a Valentine's card to our significant others (or maybe those you want to be your SO) rather than everyone you love.

Anyway my card, uses the adorable French Brunch with the embossing/stencilling behind her. I love this red and blue combo as well.

Recipe:

Stamps: French Brunch from The Paper Shelter

Papers: Real Red, Night of Navy & Whisper White all from Stampin' Up, Summertime (by the sea) Patterned Papers from Maja Design, X-Press It Blending Card from Copic

The Paper Shelter Challenge #665 - Anything Goes With the Optional Twist of Colours of Love

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for this fortnight's challenge from The Paper Shelter. This time our challenge is the usual Anything Goes challenge, but the twist this time is to use the Colours of Love. This doesn't necessarily have to be pinks and red, but any colours you feel represent love to you.

For my card I used the adorable Valentine's Day Presents and I did go with reds and pink with accents of brown for my card, but instead of making a valentine's card, I made a birthday to show how versatile these images can be. Just because it is called Valentine's Day Presents doesn't mean it has to be used only for that occasion!

The difference is that we have now combined both teams to make 1 bigger team and each challenge will now last for 2 weeks to allow more people to enter each time.

This week our challenge as always is an Anything Goes challenge but the optional twist this time is Hallowe'en, Not Hallowe'en. This time we would love to see you use non-traditional colours for a Hallowe'en card or project, so no purple, orange, green and black.

I tried so hard to do this colour combo and whilst my image using non-Hallowe'en colours, I found it harder to not use those colours in my patterned papers, so I am halfway there!
