Sunday's Birthday Cards

I made a few more birthday cards today and thought I'd show them to you!

This first one is for CR84FN10 to use Lavender, Aqua, Yellow and Green and this is the gorgeous inspiration photo for these colours.

This is also for Free For All #43 to make a birthday card and for Joyce's Papertrey Princess challenge to CASE a card from the PTI gallery and make it our own. I've been rearranging all my PTI sets and going through them all has made me find ones I haven't used for ages. I wanted to use my Just The Ticket set (which I've only used once!), so I went through the PTI gallery and found this gorgeous card by Melissa Phillips, which I used as inspiration for my card.

Recipe:

Stamps:  Just The Ticket, Mat Stack #1 Collection both from PTI

Papers: Lemon Tart, Simply Chartreuse, Pretty Pastels DSP all from PTI, Naturals Ivory from SU

Inks: Aqua Mist, Lavender Moon both from PTI, Summer Sun (retired) from SU

Accessories: Harvest Gold Felt, Simply Chartreuse Felt and Ribbon, Aqua Mist Button, Lavender Moon Button, Just The Ticket Border Die, Beautiful Blooms Dies #3, Butterfly Die all from PTI, Spiral Note punch from SU, Sizzix Leaf Die #3, Lilac Felt and Glittered White felt both from Hobbycraft, Baker's Twine from The Ribbon Reel!

My next one is for Farm Fresh Friday's sketch challenge (haven't done one of these challenges for a while!) and for CC304 to use Poppy Parade, White and Grey or Silver. Looking at the card now, I really should have done Anya's hair in black, but nevermind huh?!

Recipe:

Stamps: Flirty Anya from The Greeting Farm, Around and About Sentiments from PTI

Papers: Poppy Parade, Basic Gray both from SU, Copics White, DSP from October Afternoon

Inks: Poppy Parade, Basic Gray both from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Basic Gray Tafetta Ribbon from SU, Circle Nestabilties, Silver Card Candy from Craftworks Cards, Double Scalloped Border Punch from EK Success

And my final card for today is for Sweet Sunday's Sketch #99, Stacey's Curtain Call #64 to use Pacific Point, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Baja Breeze and for Just Magnolia's Anything Goes with Buttons challenge.

Recipe:

Stamps: Guitar Edwin from Magnolia, Music Notes wheel from SU, Around and About Sentiments from PTI

Papers: Always Artichoke, Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler all from SU, Copics White

Inks: Pacific Point from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Zigzag Border punch from Martha Stewart, Circle Nestabilities, Pacific Point ribbon (retired) from SU, New Leaf Buttons, Rustic Button Twine both from PTI

And that's from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by!

  6. A while back I was looking for a birthday card for a friend. I wanted a real ball busting card. I had zero luck finding what I was looking for. I told a group of friends about this problem one night while we were haveing a few drinks. We proceded to get smashed and make up a bunch of greeting cards we found funny. I had been writing down the cards we made up and the next morning I read them. Much to my surprise the cards were still funny even when sober.
