I didn't get around to blogging these yesterday, but I did a few cards for a few challenges.
My first one is for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday challenge #2 to use a vellum strip for the sentiment, Paper Pal Arts Challenge #81 for the sketch, CC310 to use Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point and So Saffron and for Papertrey Princess Joyce's It's All About Technique Challenge to use at least 4 layers, sewing (I did faux stitching as I forgot until the very end!), white embossing and a vellum sentiment panel - what a lot of criteria! But I managed it all hehe!
Recipe:
Stamps: Little Bitty Birds, Friends Til The End both from PTI
Papers: Wild Wasabi cs and DSP (from old hostess pack - retired), Pacific Point, Whisper White, Vellum cardstock, Tea Party DSP (retired) all from SU
Inks: Pacific Point ink and marker, Whisper White (both from SU), Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Pacific Point Ribbon (retired), Clear Embossing Powder, Scallop Border Punch all from SU, Circle Nestabilities, Brads from Papermania
My next card is for Mojo #178 for the sketch, CC95 and CC110A which were the same colour combo to use Basic Black, Whisper White and Cool Caribbean (I don't have any of this colour so subbed it for Soft Sky instead). I LOVE how this card has turned out - this combo is just gorgeous!
Recipe:
Stamps: All About You from PTI
Papers: Basic Black, Whisper White, Soft Sky cs and DSP (both retired) all from SU
Inks: Basic Black, Soft Sky (retired) both from SU
Accessories: Soft Sky ribbon (retired), Scallop Trim Border Punch both from SU, Circle Nestabilities, Card Candy from Craftworks Cards
My final card from yesterday is for Viva La Verve's February Sketch #4, Papertake Weekly's Putting on the Glitz challenge to use glitter and bling and for old CC28 to use Mellow Moss, Almost Amethyst and Bravo Burgundy. I did have to swap the sketch around a little bit as I cut the paper wrong and that was the last sheet I had of the Mellow Moss dotty paper - you can still see the inspiration in it though!
Recipe:
Stamps: Framed Wishes, Great Friend both from Verve
Papers: Almost Amethyst (retired), Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White, Mellow Moss DSP (from retired hostess pack), Tea Party DSP (retired) all from SU
Inks: Versamark, Bravo Burgundy, Mellow Moss, Almost Amethyst (both retired) all from SU
Accessories: Bravo Burgundy ribbon (retired), Dazzling Diamonds, Heat 'n' Stick Powder all from SU, Gems from stash
And that's from this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!
