Playful Purples

I used purple a few times this weekend - mainly on colour combos, but I do love a bit of purple!

This first card is for Mojo Monday #182 for the sketch, Color Throwdown's Challenge #133 to use More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi and Early Espresso and for Stampin' Royalty's Challenge #63 to use dry embossing. I used one of my new SU embossing folders and it has a really deep impression - love it!

Recipe:

Stamps: Petals & Stems, Circular Sayins both from Verve

Papers: Elegant Eggplant, Early Espresso, Perfect Plum, Whisper White all from SU

Inks: Wild Wasabi, More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum all from SU

Accessories: More Mustard Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder both from SU, Circle Nestabilities

My next card is for Sweet Sunday's Sketch #109, Truly Scrumptious' Challenge #53 to use a tag and CR84FN20 to use plum, lavender and green. This is the gorgeous swatch for these colours.

And here's my take on these challenges. I know Lily of the Valleys are meant to be white, but I just pretended they were bluebells and coloured them in lavender hehe.

Recipe:

Stamps: Year of Flowers: Lily of the Valley, Delightful Dahlias, Background Basics: Botanicals all from PTI

Papers: Perfect Plum, Gable Green both from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI, DSP from Basic Gray

Inks: Perfect Plum from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Doily Lace Border Punch from Martha Stewart, Modern Label Punch from SU, Purple Ribbon from stash, Purple Baker's Twine from Quixotic Paperie

And my final purple card is for Viva La Verve's sketch #4 for March, Free for All Challenge #56 to be inspired by your garden or flowers (I guess all of these cards could qualify for that challenge) and for Play Date Cafe's Challenge #73 to use the colours from the following inspiration swatch. I used lilac, peach and rose red as mine.

And here's my card for it.

Recipe:

Stamps: Take Three Summer from PTI

Papers: Rose Red, Lovely Lilac (retired), Whisper White, Peach Parfait DSP from hostess pack, Sweet & Sour DSP all from SU

Inks: Rose Red, Peach Parfait, Lovely Lilac (retired) all from SU

Accessories: Buttons from stash, Corner Rounder Punch, Double Ended Banner Die from PTI, Scallop Trim Border Punch from SU

And that's all my purple cards for today folks! Thanks for stopping by!
