These are my more manly cards from this week.
My first one is for Play Date Cafe's Colour Challenge #77 to use green, brown and white, Stampin' Royalty's Challenge #67 - Spring has Sprung and for Free For All #35 to use flaps, so I made a joy fold card. I needed a couple of manly SUO cards for my workshop next week and these challenges were ideal.
Recipe:
Stamps: Lovely As A Tree, Thank You Kindly both from SU
Papers: Old Olive, Garden Green, Whisper White, Woodland Walk DSP, Soft Suede DSP from the Neutrals Stack all from SU
Inks: SU Markers in Old Olive, Garden Green, Soft Suede
Accessories: Linen Thread, Spritzer, Oval Punches, 1 3/8" circle punch
My next one is for Just Add Ink's Challenge #64 to use colours from your favourite chocolate bar wrapper, old Mojo #84 and Papertrey Princess Ren-Yi's challenge to use stripes. My fave chocolate bar is Dream from Cadbury's and this is the wrapper - blue, vanilla and brown. It's heaven in a little bar!
And here's my card:
Recipe:
Stamps: Enjoy The Ride from PTI
Papers: Marina Mist cs and DSP from Subtles Pack, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip DSP from Neutrals Pack all from SU
Inks: Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip both from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Buttons from Elzybells, Brads from stash, Circle Nestabilities, Very Vanilla ribbon from SU, 3D Gloss from Anita's
My next one is for Sweet Sunday's Sketch #113, Free For All #60 to use a furniture stamp and something old (both my ribbon and buttons have been retired for a while now) and CC57 to use Bordering Blue, So Saffron and a neutral - I chose retired Close To Cocoa. Now I'm not odd stamping a blue cat, because in about 4 weeks time we're picking up our cute little Blue Britsh Shorthair cat and this blue is almost a perfect match for her - take a peek. (Not sure which one is ours in this picture though :P)
And here's my card:
Recipe:
Stamps: On My Couch Additions from PTI
Papers: Bordering Blue (retired), Close To Cocoa (retired), Whisper White, Petals & Paisley DSP (retired) all from SU
Inks: Bordering Blue, Close to Cocoa (both retired), So Saffron all from SU
Accessories: Circle Nestabilities, Corner Rounder Punch, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Theatre Ribbon, Close To Cocoa buttons (both retired) from SU
And my last manly card is for Viva La Verve's Sketch #3 for April, Color Throwdown's Challenge #137 to use teal, Summer Sun and celery.
Recipe:
Stamps: Make A Wish and Make A Wish Additions both from PTI
Papers: Summer Sun, Spring Fling, Bali Breeze DSP (all retired) Certainly Celery all from SU, Stamper's Select White from PTI
Inks: Summer Sun, Taken With Teal (both retired), Certainly Celery all from SU
Accessories: Oval Punch from SU, Teal ribbon from Anita's, Zig Zag Punch from Martha Stewart, Gems from stash
And that's all for today folks! Thanks for stopping by!
