Pink Cards

Just a few pink cards I made this weekend...

This first one is for SC337 for the sketch, Stampin' Royalty's Challenge #76 to be inspired by the photos. I used the doilies and the colour scheme of pink, white and grey. This is also for Make It Monday's Challenge #19 to use the Rock 'n' Roll technique.

Recipe:

Stamps: Delightful Doilies, Think Big Favorites #2

Papers: Hibiscus Burst, Stampers Select White, Happy Spots Patterned Paper all from PTI, Going Gray (retired) from SU

Inks: Pink Pirouette, Basic Gray both from SU, Hibiscus Burst from PTI

Accessories: Hibiscus Burst Ribbon from PTI, Basic Gray Button from SU, Baker's Twine from The Ribbon Reel, Fancy Flower Punch from EK Success

My next card is for Play Date Café's Challenge #86 to use hollyhock (a bright pink), orange and sky blue. I really wasn't sure about this combo at first but I loved it once it all came together. It's also for Waltzing Mouse's Sketch Challenge #52 which was to choose an old sketch, so I chose #10 which I hadn't done before.

This is Play Date Café's bright and funky picture...

And here's my take on these colours...

Recipe:

Stamps: Victorian Frippery from Waltzing Mouse Stamps

Papers: Soft Sky (retired), Regal Rose, Whisper White, Sweet Always DSP (retired) all from SU

Inks: Regal Rose, Soft Sky (retired), Pumpkin Pie all from SU

Accessories: Circle Nestabilities, Buttons from Elzybells, Embroidery Thread from Stash

My last pinky card is for Just Magnolia's Challenge #111 to use paper piecing, Magnolia-licious' Colour Challenge #8 to use the photo of a pink and grey telephone as inspiration and for Paper Pal Arts' Challenge #98 for the sketch.

Recipe:

Stamps: Hawaiian Tilda with Flower from Magnolia

Papers: Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray both from SU, Copics White, Be Mine Patterned Paper from Echo Park

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch from SU, Pink Lace from Crafts U Love, Ribbon from stash, Pale Pink Rose from Hobbycraft, Dark Pink Roses from Mic, Sentiment piece from pre-printed sheet from stash (found in my my flowers drawer from when I first started card making!)

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Vannessa, your Tilda card is just adorable. This is one of my favorite Tildas. Terrific job with the paper piecing. Love the DP’s you used for it—smaller dots to match the big-dot DP on your card. Beautifully put together.
Thanks for coming over to play with us at the Magnolia-licious Challenge.
    Hugs,
    Norma
