This first card is for a ton of challenges! Hope You Can Cling To #17 to use paint, A Passion for Papertrey's colour challenge to use peach, green and brown, Make It Monday's Challenge #39 to build a background using multiple stamps and colours, for Cupcake Craft Challenge #166 to use leaves and for SC357 for the sketch! Phew! I just got my new Spring Moss ink last week and it is such a gorgeous colour. I didn't have this one in the old inks, so can't compare it, but it's luscious. Can't wait for all the other PTI inks to come out now! (I got Aqua Mist too, but not tried that one yet!).

My next card is for Hope You Can Cling To Challenge #31 to use a style that is not your own - well CAS cards are definitely NOT me, so I thought I'd go with one of those and this one still took me forever to do! I used the gorgeous colour palette from Play Date Cafe's Challenge #106 to use pink, yellow and grey. This is colour swatch from their challenge.
And this is my card for it.

My final card for this post is for Hope You Can Cling To Challenge #30 to use frilly paper ribbon - I even impressed myself on this one! I pleated some DSP and then stitched the pleats down with my sewing machine! First time ever! Might develop a thing for sewing on cards now I've got the hang of my machine! This one is also for Colour Create's Challenge #83 to use Turquoise, Hot Pink and Ivory (although there's not much ivory!), Friday Mash Up's Challenge #31 to use heat embossing (my sentiment circle is heat embossed) and/or make a thank you card and for Viva La Verve's Sketch #1 for November.

And that's all for this post. Thanks for stopping by

ReplyDeleteLove your colour challenge card - have ordered the new inks myself but not got them just yet - the old one is really "smushy" very hard to get a crisp impression so very excited about SM and AM in particular.
