Papertrey Ink's March Blog Hop 2012

I can't believe it's time for PTI's March's bloghop already - where has this last month gone?! This month's challenge is to be inspired by this photo. I used the colours yellow and aqua as the basis for my card and combined it with Make It Monday's Challenge #58 to use Copics to make a graduated background (although mine didn't quite come out as well as Nichole's) and A Passion for Papertrey's House and Home Challenge. I only have this set, On My Couch Additions that is related to house and home, so had to pull it out.


And here's my card. These stripes remind me of a sunset - no idea why as they are nowhere near the correct colours, but they do. Maybe it's the idea of blue meeting yellow - sky meeting sand! I dunno!
