Stamp-A-Faire Challenges Part 3

This is my last post for Papertrey Ink's Stamp-A-Faire Challenges they put on this weekend.

The next challenge was the Correspondence Badge- Camp Card Set Challenge. There were 5 tutorials to pick from for this challenge and I opted to go with Betsy Veldman's idea. Betsy used an Edgers die on the bottom of the front of her cards and then die cut a partial die image from a patterned paper strip at the top of the card and stamp in the gap. I would never have thought of this idea and I totally loved it and it is one I will definitely use again!

I made a set of 4 cards - 2 birthday and 2 thank you using a pretty colour combo of Simply Chartreuse, Scarlet Jewel and Autumn Rose, although when stamped the Autumn Rose ink is far too close to the Scarlet Jewel so I had to stamp it off before stamping it on the card, but I do have an old Scarlet Jewel ink cube so it could be that it is that one which is off in colour. Must add a new one of those to my ever growing PTI wish list! Anyway here's the whole set of cards.

And here's just one of them for a close up! Simple, but pretty!

And the final challenge was the DIY Badge- Homemade Embellishments Challenge. There were 7 tutorials to choose from for this challenge and I chose Dawn McVey's tutorial as she has used some gorgeous butterflies. I chose Colours which I deem as Dawn's signature colours - Raspberry Fizz and Dark Chocolate, although I do think I used a bit too much Raspberry Fizz on this one!

And that's all the Stamp-A-Faire challenges completed for another year and these are the badges I "earned"! I had lots of fun making all these cards and projects today!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all enjoyed the SAF challenges as much as I did!
