For all of September, House of Cards have a great colour challenge for you to use as your inspiration. We would like you to choose at least 3 of the following colours for the Cute and Fun challenge this week.
From top to bottom I have interpreted the colours as the Stampin' Up colours of Pale Plum (Retired), Elegant Eggplant, Lavender Lace (Retired), Poppy Parade (Retired) and Early Espresso and managed to get all 5 colours on my card!
This card is also for the UK My Besties Challenge to use at least 3 things beginning with "B". I used a Brad, Bling, a Bow, Birthday in the sentiment and Butterflies - lots and lots of butterflies! I wanted to use either my Tim Holtz Butterflight Die or my Joy Crafts Butterfly Border die, but as I hadn't used a straight edge on the top of my card, neither of them would work, so I created my own border using lots of Memory Box Butterfly dies instead.
And I'm entering this in the Scrapbook Society's Challenge #17 Anything Goes.
And here she is...
Recipe:
Stamps: IMG8952 from Sherri Baldy Designs, Everyday Sentiment Tags from Lili of the Valley, Polka Dot Basics II from Papertrey Ink
Papers: Elegant Eggplant, Early Espresso, Pale Plum (Retired), Lavender Lace (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Copic X-Press It Blending Card, Cheapy White cs from stash
Inks: Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum (Retired) both from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers
Accessories: Poppy Parade Ribbon (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Large Frilly Frames #10 from Go Kreate, Oval Nestabilities, Vivienne Butterfly Die, Darla Butterfly Dies, Isabella Butterfly Die, Pippi Butterfly Die all from Memory Box, Gems from Hobbycraft, Glitter Flowers from The Works, Flower Brad from Papermania, Diamond Stickles
And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you can join in the challenge over at House of Cards this week with your Cute and Fun cards!
