A Final Card for The Paper Shelter

Not a final card forever though, just a final card as a participant because... I was picked as one of their new Design Team members! I could not believe it when I received an email on Friday from the lovely Marie! I am still giddy and cannot stop grinning. I am beyond excited!

So as a final participant card, I used one of my fave images - Red Riding Hood and am entering this into The Paper Shelter's Challenge #150 to use more than 5 flowers, for Papertake Weekly's Challenge to make a card for a mum or a girl, Aurora Wings Challenge #1 Anything Goes, and Scrapbook Stamp Society's Challenge #37 Anything Goes with a Butterfly.

And here she is...I used my Silhouette Portrait a lot on this one after seeing the arch/curved frame in my library and decided I wanted it to look like Red was coming out of the forest. Not sure if it really looks like that, but it's cute nonetheless. Hope you like her!

Recipe:

Stamps: Red Riding Hood from The Paper Shelter, Way Out West from Waltzing Mouse Stamps

Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Baked Brown Sugar both from Stampin' Up, Heartfelt Patterned Paper from Lili of the Valley, Copic X-Press It Blending Card

Inks: Baked Brown Sugar, Chalk Marker both from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers, Gold Star Gelly Roll Pen

Accessories: Tender Leaves Dies from Memory Box, Butterfly Die 6003/0023 from Joy Crafts, Pearls from Hobbycraft, Brads, lace and ribbon all from stash, Silhouette Portrait Die Cuts - Flowers, Arch, Card Base

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E01, R20, R30
Hair - E42, E43, E44
Basket - E31, E33, E35
Dress - R24, R27, R29
Cape and Shoes - R56, R89, R59

And that's all from me for today folks! Not had much time for crafting this week, with a school training day at the NEC for the Education Show (where I spent my lunch break in the Hobbycrafts show and bought lots of new crafting goodies and ate on the coach back instead!) and catching up on some DT cards today.

See you next weekend with a fabulous new card for my new DT role at The Paper Shelter!
