The Paper Shelter Challenge #164 Travel and Transportation

It's time for Team B to host a challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge blog this week and the theme is

Travel and Transportation

We would like to see your cards or projects inspired by a country you have visited or would like to visit or use a travel theme or use some sort of transportation such as a car or aeroplane. The Paper Shelter has heaps of fantastic images for this challenge - you'll be spoilt for choice!

Here are a few ideas to get you started...You could use Snake Charmer for a trip to India, Bon Voyage for a travel theme or My Racing Car for a transportation theme.

I decided to go for a Chinese themed card as I have always wanted to go to China and maybe one day in the far distant future I will get there. For this theme I used the beautiful My Fantasy Pet digi with the matching background paper too.

Lots of gorgeous greens, reddy-oranges and gold on this one. Not  colour combo I would usually choose but I love how it came out! The pearlescent card is really hard to photograph though as it's just so shiny!

Recipe:

Stamps: My Fantasy Pet from The Paper Shelter, Happy Trails from Papertrey Ink

Papers: Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight both from Stampin' Up, Gold Pearlescent from local craft store, white card stock for background paper from school!

Inks: Tangerine Tango from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers

Accessories: Beautiful Blooms II Dies #1 from Papertrey Ink, Ribbon from Papermania, Fancy Framed Tags 2 from Spellbinders, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Flower Punch from stash, Gems from The Works, Brads from stash, Anja's Vintage Decoration LR0269 from Marianne Creatables

Copics Used:
Skin  - E50, E51, E53, R20, R30

Dress - G00, G0, G05, G07

And that's all from me for today folks. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to The Paper Shelter Challenge blog and check out all the other gorgeous DT cards and join in the fun whilst you're there too.
