The Paper Shelter Challenge #170 Lace

It's time for another challenge from the fabulous The Paper Shelter design team and today our challenge #170 is to use lace. There are so many gorgeous laces out there and I have a huge piles of laces in various colours and sizes so it was hard for me to choose which one and then it was even harder to choose which gorgeous image to use.

I eventually decided to go a little bit sassy and use some red lace that I bought from my local craft store a while ago and teamed it up with the gorgeous Tango stamp from The Paper Shelter. I fell in love with this digi as soon as I saw her but have never gotten round to using her until today. My printer for some reason didn't like her tights though and only printed dots rather than the actual lines so I had to use my Copic Fine Liner to put them back in at the end.

Anyway here she is....Isn't she just fabulous?! I couldn't find any dance related sentiments in my arsenal of stamps so hunted on Pinterest for some good ones and copied this one. It's so true as well. Life would be so much more fun if we danced more!

Recipe:

Stamps: Tango from The Paper Shelter

Papers: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Love Letter DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Copic X-Press It Blending Card

Inks: Copic Markers, Silver Star & Clear Star Gelly Roll Pens

Accessories: Lace from local craft store, Swirling Lace Punch Around The Page Set from Martha Stewart, Gems from Papermania

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Blacks - C3, C5, C7, C9
Reds - R24, R27, R29, R89
Lightbulb - YR61, YR15, Y15
Lamppost  T1, T4, T6
Ground & Sky - W1, W3, W5

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to The Paper Shelter Challenge blog and check out all the other gorgeous cards from the DT and join in the fun whilst you're there too. You don't have to use an image from The Paper Shelter, but if you do (and why shouldn't you as they are all so gorgeous!) you can win $30 to spend in The Paper Shelter store - what a fabulous prize that is!
