Treasure Your Day

I love this image from The East Wind and just had to use her for their Facebook Challenge Pirates. She was lots of fun to colour, although I'm not completely happy with her skirt, but oh well. Never mind! This card is also for Crafty Ribbons Challenge to make a birthday card with ribbon, A Creative Romance's Challenge to use Kraft card and for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge which is an Anything Goes challenge, but I didn't add the twist this time.

I don't actually have any map stamps or anything remotely related to pirates, ships or sailing, so had to improvise a little and use my steampunk corner dies and made a couple of little scrolls for mini maps!

Recipe:

Stamps: Lucy Loo Pirates from The East Wind, Birthday Postage Stamp Sentiments from Whimsy Stamps

Papers: Chocolate Chip, Neutrals DSP Stack (Retired) both from Stampin' Up, Kraft from Papertrey Ink, Copic X-Press It Blending Card, Gold Mirri Card from stash

Inks: Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up, Tea Dye, Walnut Stain Distress Inks from Tim Holtz, Golden Star Gelly Roll Pen, Copic Markers

Accessories: Gold Baker's Twine from Stampin' Up, Filigree Border Die from Papertrey Ink, Steampunk Corner Die from La-La Land Crafts, Gold Ribbon from stash

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair - E13, E15, Y21, Y23
Coat & Bandana - E42, E43, E44

And that's all from me for today folks! Thanks for stopping by.

  1. What a great feminine version of a pirate themed card! You did a great job coloring the image and love those tiny scrolls of paper, I'm sure they are treasure maps!
