Alice says it's time to celebrate

The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge this week is to use an Alice in Wonderland theme this week. I just love Alice in Wonderland and went to see the play version in my local outdoor theatre during the summer - it was fabulous! The book was my favourite as a child and I must have read it a zillion times and I have just done a talk on this book in assembly at school for our Reading Revolution that we have going this year! So anyway this challenge was perfect for me and I decided to pull out one of my many Alice in Wonderland images - this one is from Tiddly Inks, but I love the Make It Crafty, La-La Land and The East Wind ones too.

I'm also entering this card into Tiddly Inks Challenge #142 to make it sparkle (I added lots of gems and glitter to the flowers) and Creative Inspirations Challenge #283 to use lovely lace. I bought this gorgeous lace and velvet ribbon combo from The Ribbon Girl a while ago and it's so gorgeous that I won't use it. However, this card is for a lovely friend of mine whose birthday is today (Happy Birthday Paula!), so she deserves some of this lovely lace!
