Nightmare Before Christmas Hanging

I don't didn't own any of the Sassy Studio Designs Hallowe'en digis so I went hunting for some for their challenge this week and found some Nightmare Before Christmas inspired ones. I did squeal a little as I didn't realise they had these and I just love NBC! So today I printed one out and coloured it in the make a Hallowe'en hanging for their Dare To Be Sassy Thursday Challenge #253 Happy Hallowe'en.

This is also for Anything Goes with a Twist Challenge #5 which is an anything goes challenge with a twist of "Dark" this week and for A Gem of A Challenge #131 Trick or Treat (Hallowe'en).

And here it is...I deliberately left off  a sentiment so I could hang this up in my room after Hallowe'en has ended and have it on display all year round! To make it sturdier I added a piece of thick card that you get with the glitter card from SU.

Recipe:

Stamps: Jack and Sally Honey from Sassy Studio Designs

Papers: Groom DSP (Retired), Whisper White, Smoky Slate all from Stampin' Up, Lilac Pearlescent Card from local craft store, Copic X-Press It Blending Card, Nightmare Before Christmas Digi Paper Pack from halegrafx.com (Freebie off the internet!)

Inks: Copic Markers

Accessories: Spiderweb Punch Around The Page Set form Martha Stewart, Ribbon from stash, Flowers from Petallu, Silhouette Die Cuts - Spooky tree, bats, moon, ghosts

Copics Used:

And here's the pumpkins we made today... I did Jack on one side of my pumpkin and Oogly Boogly on the other. I also did the bats in the cemetery one while we watched Nightmare Before Christmas!

And that's all from me for tonight folks! Hope you have had a great Hallowe'en. We're off to Whitby tomorrow for some more spooky fun on their Dracula tour and to meet my favourite fairy artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith at the Whitby Goth Festival!

  1. SOOOO cool. I love it and pinned it to my SSD board to reference back to it when I color my newly bought Sally image. I was her for Halloween. A little bit thicker than the movie Sally. LOL. Great card
