The Paper Shelter Challenge #186 - Use Dies and/or Punches

Good morning and welcome to my first post of the year for The Paper Shelter Challenge blog. We took a bit of a break over the Christmas and New Year holidays and have now returned! It's team B's turn this week and our challenge is a nice easy one - use dies and/or punches on your creation!

I used both on mine with a punch around the page set from Martha Stewart and lots of die cuts! I also used the gorgeous Winter Blossom. Isn't she just stunning?! Sorry the photo's a bit dark, but any brighter and the sentiment disappears as the ink is such a pale blue!

This card is also for Inky Chicks Challenge #45 Anything Goes, Fab 'n' Funky's Challenge #242 Something New (I have a new digi stamp, a new sentiment set and a new PATP set that I bought in the Christmas sales!), Deep Ocean's Challenge #95 Winter Dreams (This digi is called Winter Blossom and she has snow and snowflakes around her so I guess this counts as winter!) and 613 Avenue Create's Challenge #106 to use as many different techniques as possible on your card. I only have a few but they are punching, die cuts, handmade flowers, double bow tying, Copic colouring and stamping.

Recipe:

Stamps: Winter Blossom from The Paper Shelter, Sweet Paris from Dovecraft, Fancy Flourishes, Happy Day both from Papertrey Ink

Papers: Soft Sky, Cherry Blossom, Whisper White all from Stampin' Up, Stationery Noted Patterned Papers from Teresa Collins, Copic X-Press It Blending Card

Inks: Soft Sky from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers, Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen

Accessories: Soft Sky Seam Binding Ribbon from Stampin' Up, Oval & Scalloped Oval Nestabilities, Pearls from local craft store, Fancy Flourishes Dies from Papertrey Ink, DieNamics Mini Rolled Roses Dies from MFT, Poinsettia Flourish Punch Around The Page set from Martha Stewart

Copics Used:
Skin - E50, E51, E53, E21, R20, R30
Hair - W3, W5, W7, W9
Red - R35, R37, R39
Branches & Eyes - E71, E74, E79
Leaves - YG93, YG95, YG97
Blue - B0000, B00, B02, B05

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the Paper Shelter Challenge blog and check out all the other gorgeous cards from the DT and why not join in the challenge whilst you are there. As always there are some fabulous prizes to be won!
