The Paper Shelter Challenge #190 - Recycle Something

Good morning and welcome to my post for The Paper Shelter Challenge blog. this week it is Team B's turn to host the challenge and we are challenging you to recycle something on your project. I'm sure we all have stuff lying around that we have salvaged from something else and kept for that "just in case" moment. I know I have!

I have used some thick red and white twine that a tag was attached to one of my Christmas presents and the large black mesh flower was from a card I was given for my birthday last year. The card itself was handmade but not by the friend who gave it to me - she bought a handmade card and I thought this flower would be perfect on one of my cards one day and today was that day!

Anyway here's my card using the gorgeous She's Charming! Love how pretty this one is!

Recipe:

Stamps: She's Charming from The Paper Shelter, Wonderful Words Additions & Banner Builder both from Papertrey Ink

Papers: Real Red, Basic Black & Whisper White all from Stampin' Up, Copic X-Press It Blending Card, Dusk Patterned Papers from Perfect Prints

Inks: Real Red from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers, Molotow White Paint Pen

Accessories: Real Red Satin Ribbon (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Banner Builder Dies & Wonderful Words Dies both from Papertrey Ink, Lace, Twine & Flower all from stash, Fancy Ovals Dies & Ovals Nestabilities both from Spellbinders, Anja's Border Elegant Die LR0344 from Marianne Design

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20, R30
Hair, Shoes & Ribbon - C3, C5, C7, C9
Powder Puff - C00, C1, C2
Red - R22, R24, R27, R29, R39, C3

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the Paper Shelter Challenge blog and check out all the other gorgeous cards from the DT and why not join in the challenge whilst you're there too?!

  5. Your coloring is just fantastic. This is so gorgeous and the red is so perfectly colored! Your recycled flower is so perfect for this card...it's that beautiful fabric that you can see through a bit, which is wonderful cause it doesn't cover up your papers! What a beautiful creation! Hugs, Gail
