Reading Is Dreaming With your Eyes Open

At my school, we are having a Year of Reading to try and promote reading a bit more for our children. Lots of them don't necessarily read for enjoyment, so we are having lots of fun competitions and challenges to try and encourage them to read more often. I thought I would make a cute little wall plaque to decorate my reading corner in my classroom for something different to do.

I used the gorgeous Bookworm Fairy from Hannah Lynn for this one. I thought she looked a bit lost in her daydreams with her book reading, so this sentiment went perfectly with her!

This wall plaque is for

  1. Vannessa what a lovely idea for encouraging kids to read. My daughter in law is a reception teacher and loves it. Kids spend too much time on their pads etc. Beautiful plaque!
