Sassy Studio Designs Flashback Friday - Steampunk Couple 2

Good morning and welcome to another Flashback Friday post for Sassy Studio Designs. This week we're flashing back to the retired digi Steampunk Couple 2. You might have picked up that this month's Flashback theme is all steampunk digis and I have to say I was a bit worried when I first saw what we were doing, but I am thoroughly enjoying making these cards each week. These images have really stretched me!

Here's my card for this week. I actually coloured up my image before deciding on papers and then found I didn't have any purples that matched! I very rarely do that and this is the reason why! I had to improvise and use some different colours for the patterned papers, but I do think it kind of works. Not sure if you can tell very well in the photo but I "tarnished" the steampunk cogs and corner die cuts with some black ink, so they weren't as shiny.
