I used the gorgeous Cleopatra Portrait and one of the sentiments that comes with her for this one. I used a colour combo of rich blue and gold to represent the colours used by the Egyptian royalty back in the day! The Ancient Egyptians is one of my favourite history topics to teach and I will be doing it again in September - so looking forward to it!
I attempted to make a blue and gold background paper, but the gold Encore ink pad I have was not very good at all and needed to be stamped 2 or 3 times to get a solid-ish covering! Very annoying and it also took ages to dry and even though I used it heat gun on it, it did hardly anything to dry it!
