In The Pink Challenge #74 Stars

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new In The Pink Challenge. This fortnight we are challenging you to use stars on your projects - you can use patterned papers with stars on, images, stamps, ribbons, die cuts - you name it as long as we can see your stars!

I used a gorgeous image from The Paper Shelter for this card, and tried to do a night time sky look - was not sure about how it came out at first, so added lots of frantage as extra stars and now I'm even less sure about it. I do like it, but think I went overboard with the frantage again!

Recipe:

Stamps: Reach The Stars from the Paper Shelter, Star Prints, Everyday Classics, Tag Its #6 and #10 all from Papertrey Ink

Papers: Pink Pirouette, Smoky Slate, Whisper White & Irresistibly Yours DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Copic X-Press It Blending Card

Inks: Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate & Encore Silver all from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers, Silver Star Gelly Roll Pen

Accessories: Pink Pirouette Two Tone Ribbon (Retired) & Silver Satin Ribbon (Retired?) both from Stampin' Up

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20, R30
Hair - C3, C5, C7, C9
Dress - R81, R83, R85, C1, C3
Wings & Net - R11, R12
Basket - E13, E15
Cloud - C00, C1
Sky - W00, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the In The Pink Challenge blog and check out all the other gorgeous cards from the DT and why not join in the challenge whilst you are there?

We have the fabulous Live & Love Crafts sponsoring us again with a £10 voucher for the prize! How great is that?!

  1. Vannessa, this card is beautiful. Not only is the image totally gorgeous but your colouring is beautiful and your card design completely lovely. I am very taken with the frantage being used as part of a night sky - it looks wonderful...
