Some Real Quick Christmas Cards

My Mother-in-law has asked for 12 Christmas cards on top of the 10 cards that I was already short so I thought I had best make some really quick ones as I haven't got enough time to do detailed, coloured ones for them all. These are all fairly flat as well so ideal for posting too!

This was the only one with a bit of colouring on it and this took all of about 15 minutes to colour as well as it didn't need very much shading at all. The dots around the words took the longest!

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Merry Christmas Holly 2 by Crafty Girl Creations@ Stitchy Bear Stamps

Papers: Real Red, Old Olive & Dashing DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Copic X-Press It Blending Card

Inks: Copic Markers

Accessories: Ribbon from Anita's, Gold Stickles, Red 3D Pearl Effects from Dovecraft

Copics Used:
Red - R35, R37
Leaves - G24, G28
Dots - Y23, Y26

My next card it one I have done before in the past but always a good one to replicate as it is so quick and easy to do so! I used the Wonderful Words: Snow set from Papertrey Ink and a range of blue inks to come up with this ombre effect. Took about 10 minutes to make in all! And that included getting everything out and putting it all away again! (I'm a tidy crafter. After each card everything I no longer need is put back where it belongs before I get the next lot of supplies out to use!)

This card is for

Stamps: Wonderful Words: Snow from Papertrey Ink, Winter Wishes 6410/0125 from Joy Crafts

Papers: Marina Mist, Midnight Muse (Retired) & Whisper White all from Stampin' Up

Inks: Midnight Muse, Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Soft Sky & Pool Party all from Stampin' Up

Accessories: White Glitter Glue from Hobbycraft

And my last card for this post is the one that took the longest! I just could not get the white bits on Santa's suit to be white enough. I tried my Molotow Paint Pen and that just leaked everywhere. My white gel pen sucks and didn't work at all. This version is my white chalk pen from Stampin' Up and was ok but still not bright white enough for me! Love the concept of this card though!

  4. I'm in awe at how lovely each of your quick cards are. I am terrible at quick cards - I wayyyy over think them and then they take me forever. Next year I'm making more flatter cards. I spent a fortune mailing mine this year. Thanks so much for sharing your last minute Christmas makes with us at My time to Craft! Merry Christmas to you!
