Faery Ink Facebook Challenge for January - Height

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge in the Faery Ink Facebook Group. This month our challenge is titled "Height" and we want to see you create a project that has some lift to it, by using layering or mounting to give a 3D effect.

I chose to use the gorgeous Birthday Girl image as this was perfect for adding lots of layers too. In total this image has 5 layers with different parts layered each time. The bottom layer has the whole image; the next layer has the back balloons cut off; the third layer has only the front balloons left on; the next layer has no balloons, just the girl and her cake and the final layer has just the cake but no candles. I will admit it was a bit fiddly cutting out all those different parts, but the effect in real life in stunning, even if I do say so myself!

And here is a side view so you can see all those layers!
