Faery Ink Inspiration Post - Top Of The World Maggie

Good afternoon and welcome to my inspiration post for Faery Ink for today. This year on April 22nd it is Earth Day and Amanda asked me to use this gorgeous digi stamp, Top of the World Maggie, to help celebrate it and bring awareness to its cause, which this year focuses on plastic use reduction.

Anyway here's Maggie....I loved this image and she was such fun to colour! I went with a golden blonde hair combo as I wanted her to have a bit of sunlight in her as she is on top of the world!

I had to find a sentiment for her and managed to add several short ones together to create this one and I think it really fits this image!

Whimsy Stamps New Release - Say Cheese Sentiments

Good Morning and welcome to my first new release post this month for Whimsy Stamps. I am using a large combination of stamps for this project but mostly using the new Say Cheese Sentiments - a great set for adding sentiments to scrapbook pages as well as to cards and other projects.

I combined the photo strip images with 3 other penguin images - Penguin Teacher (which is also a new release this month), Penguin Easter Bunny and Penguin Lucky Shamrock. I just simply cropped and adjusted each penguin head to fit inside the white boxes on the photo strip. I love this idea and can't wait to use it again!

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from Delicious Doodles. This month our challenge is Anything but a Square, so no squares allowed!

I used one of my Crealies dies to cut this shape for my Mother of Dragons. I kept my project quite simple using some rainbow papers, as I so wanted to use this quote from the one and only J.R.R. Aurora Wings Unicorn Sprite

Good evening! I managed to squeeze some non DT crafting time in this weekend and just had to use one of the new sprites from Aurora Wings. I totally fell in love with this Unicorn Sprite, so she was my first choice for entering the latest challenge on the Aurora Wings Challenge blog.

I went for a very girly pink and purple combo and used some of my Rainbow Magic patterned papers which have unicorns on the lilac papers, although I covered most of them up so you can't see them at all! I found some sequins in my embellishments drawers as well which matched really well for that added sparkle touch!

Faery Ink Tomte Gnome Easter

Good Morning and welcome to another of my inspiration posts for Faery Ink. This week I am sharing the last of the Tomte Gnomes from the Spring Tomte Nisse Gnomes Bundle. This cutie is Tomte Gnome Easter. I don't actually send very many Easter cards out as I am not a Christian, but my mother-in-law usually sends a few so she takes any that I make!

I made an easel card for a change and used some scraps of very old, very retired patterned papers from Stampin' Up for this card. The pack is almost empty now!

I added some sentiments from the now closed down Waltzing Mouse Stamps and the sentiment on the bottom layer says "we're going on an egg hunt yum yum" and all I have done all day is sing that phrase in the style of Michael Rosen singing "We're going on a bear hunt!" I do love that book and Michael Rosen's performance of it is amazing! Go Google it!
