Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - Rose

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge blog. This week the DT were challenged to a monochrome colour scheme, so I just had to use my favourite pinks on this one and used the gorgeous and suitably named Rose image for my card, which is available in this set of 4 Girls with Flowers.

In my mission to use up some of my old patterned papers, I used the long time retired Subtles papers from Stampin' Up and slowly I am getting through the pinks that I was saving for a special card. No point in saving something for "special" as I never use it!

This card is also for

Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Post - Fialka

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps. This week I have used the gorgeous Polka Dot Pals Fiakla for my card and coloured her with my Copics. I actually forgot to use the add on faces so attempted to follow Barbara's cheeks and nose tutorial for creating the nose and mouth.

I will admit the first attempt was awful, so I re-did just her face after botching it over and over, cut it out and glued it on the top of this one. I had coloured the hair and everything else to see if it would make the original face better, but it didn't :(  I didn't have E30 as it has run out and I haven't bought the reinker for it yet, so used YR30 which was the closest on my hex chart and I think it made the skin too yellowy. But this is how you learn I guess!

I definitely need some practice on doing this as I just couldn't get it to look right! The nose is still a bit wonky!

Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge Favourite Colours

Good Morning and welcome to my post for the new challenge from the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge blog. This month or challenge is for you to use your favourite colours. I have lots of colours I love, but tend to use lots of pink and purple in my cards, so I went for a pink, purple and grey combo using the gorgeous Misty Moon Grayscale image.

I bought a silver frame for this A4 sized colouring which goes really well with it. I will admit it took me hours to do especially all the sky using little dots, but I love how it came out! This one is going on my bedroom wall once I find some nails!

Faery Ink Inspiration Post - Top Of The World Maggie

Good afternoon and welcome to my inspiration post for Faery Ink for today. This year on April 22nd it is Earth Day and Amanda asked me to use this gorgeous digi stamp, Top of the World Maggie, to help celebrate it and bring awareness to its cause, which this year focuses on plastic use reduction.

Anyway here's Maggie....I loved this image and she was such fun to colour! I went with a golden blonde hair combo as I wanted her to have a bit of sunlight in her as she is on top of the world!

I had to find a sentiment for her and managed to add several short ones together to create this one and I think it really fits this image!

Whimsy Stamps New Release - Say Cheese Sentiments

Good Morning and welcome to my first new release post this month for Whimsy Stamps. I am using a large combination of stamps for this project but mostly using the new Say Cheese Sentiments - a great set for adding sentiments to scrapbook pages as well as to cards and other projects.

I combined the photo strip images with 3 other penguin images - Penguin Teacher (which is also a new release this month), Penguin Easter Bunny and Penguin Lucky Shamrock. I just simply cropped and adjusted each penguin head to fit inside the white boxes on the photo strip. I love this idea and can't wait to use it again!

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from Delicious Doodles. This month our challenge is Anything but a Square, so no squares allowed!

I used one of my Crealies dies to cut this shape for my Mother of Dragons. I kept my project quite simple using some rainbow papers, as I so wanted to use this quote from the one and only J.R.R. Tolkein (one of my favourite fantasy authors!). I went for a very bright colour combo, completely by accident as I just couldn't decide on colours, so went with them all LOL
