Lolly Licking Time!
It sure is with the cute Lola Lollipop! This card is for SC419 for the sketch and for Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #162 to use 3 embellishments - I have 2 brads and a piece of ribbon - no room for much else! Another nice and quick one, using up some old DSP that I didn't really use at all when it was current - figures huh?!

Quick Little Snowman
Thought I'd be organised and make a start on this year's Christmas cards, so I have enough in time this year! Nah not really! This card is for The Sweet Stop's Sketch #194 and this week it has a twist of using a snowman, so I whipped up a quick Christmas card in no time.
And here's my little snowman. Might actually get enough snow today to go out and make one.

Calendar Page for January
In the mad rush that was my Christmas last year, I never got round to making my own calendar for this year. I did loads of little ones using the Stampin' Up cases for friends and one for me for work, but didn't do myself a calendar for the house! So after seeing this gorgeous calendar by Tammi, I decided to start making my own this weekend. So far I have got January done, but I'm getting February's page done tomorrow and will then have to do the rest bit by bit as I get the chance, but half term's coming up soon so I'm aiming to get the whole calendar finished by then! The actual calendar section is left over from all the ones I made just before Christmas, but I had printed them all off on Very Vanilla cardstock and I don't have a printer at home, so it doesn't quite match, but I think I can get away with it!
January is still fairly cold and usually the time of year we get snow here in Peterborough (generally don't have white Christmases), so I thought a snowy, wintery feel would work for this page. I used the gorgeous Nikki, which was a freebie on Krista Smith's blog a while ago and added lots of blue and glittery white, all of which made this page perfect for entering Cute Card Thursday's Challenge #252 Diamonds Are Forever (I hope I added enough glitter card, Stickles and glitter jewels to qualify!) and for Papertake Weekly's Challenge Baby It's Cold Outside!

No Peeking for Linzi!!!
This post contains part of my gift for one of my TA's birthday's next week, so if she's looking at my blog now, she needs to turn away otherwise it will spoil the surprise on Thursday!
This project is for Just Add Ink's Big Shot Challenge, Play Date Café's Challenge #165 to use the gorgeous colours below and for Cupcake Crafts Challenge to make anything but a card. I really dislike buying gift bags from a card store as I much prefer decorating my own to match the gift, tag or card, so I bought a load of these plain white bags last year and had some left over - perfect for Linzi's birthday pressie to fit in (which I won't show until next week when she's had it, just in case she does peek in here!).
I pulled out some old retired DSP packs for this one and covered the front of the bag with a range of different butterfly die cuts and added a gift tags with a butterfly too. Her pressie also has (almost) matching felt butterflies on to carry the colour combo on.
And here's my bag and gift tag.
