My first card is for Papertake Weekly's Do Something Different Challenge. I have never done a shaker card with water before so it was definately something different for me! This was a technique shown by Monica at the SU training event I went to last weekend (and just remembered I haven't upload the photos of that day either - bad blogger!) I used an old colour combo from SCS, CC22 to use Pretty in Pink and Pink Passion and for an old Mojo Monday sketch Mojo#77. You can't really see the glitter in the sweet cup whilst it's standing up, but I can assure you there's lots of it!
Recipe:
Stamps: Best Wishes & More from SU
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion, Confetti White
Inks: Pink Passion, Frost White shimmer paint
Accessories: Sweet Cups, Silver Glitter from the Fine Galaxy set, Silver Brads
Up next is another glittery card and it's for Just Add Ink's #15. I used one of the new Tilda stamps and isn't she just a darling?! And believe it or not instead of using a colour challenge like I normally do (trying to catch up on the old SCS ones) I just used the colours from some old DSP.
Recipe:
Stamps: Fairy Tilda Flying from Magnolia
Papers: Kraft, Orchid Opulence, Copic White cs, DSP from Daisy Bucket
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Ciaos
Accessories: Kraft Taffeta ribbon, Icicle Stickles, Glittery purple dots I found in my stash
And my last glittery card is for Mojo#136 and I used the colour combo CC268 for it. I didn't think the Ballet Blue would show up very well on the Barely Banana cardstock, but it really does hold the colour well.
Recipe:
Stamps: Floral Frenzy Remixed from Verve
Paper: Ballet Blue, Old Olive, Barely Banana, Whisper White
Inks: Ballet Blue, Old Olive
Accessories: Double Loops Martha Stewart Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, Old Olive twill (from old mini years ago), Diamond Stickles
My next card is a nice summery one, just for Sweet Stampin's Challenge # 24 - It's Summer Time, for the sketch from Just Us Girls Challenge #31 (although I did change the circle to an oval for my image!) and for Sketch 'n' Color's Challenge #9 to use Summer Sun, Rose Red, tempting Turquoise and Basic Gray.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rain or Shine from The Greeting Farm, Wishing You Sunshine sentiment from High Hopes
Paper: Summer Sun, Basic Gray, Rose Red cs & DSP, Non SU white cs, Pink Flamingo DSP
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Ciaos
Accessories: Oval Nestabilities, Sepia Zoomz (like Dew Drops), Crystal Effects
Another Anya comes up next for this Friday's Farm Fresh Friday challenge which was to use the gothic bedroom photo as inspiration. Although the bed has typical gothic arches on the frame, it certainly didn't look as gothic-y as my bedroom when I went through my gothic phase as a teenager (the only thing that wasn't black were the walls as my mum wouldn't let me paint them, so they were covered with band posters instead!). I also used Mercy's sketch #71 for the layout.
Recipe:
Stamps: Miss Anya Dressy from The Greeting Farm
Papers: Naturals Ivory from SU (this stuff is fab and it's the first time I used it too!), Chocolate Chip, DSP from Papermania
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Cuttlebug Border Embossing Folder (not sure which set though!), Prima Flowers, Brad from Papermania, Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon
Another cutest girly card for you now! This one is for Stacey's Curtain Call #28 to use Rose Red, Kraft, Not Quite Navy and white. I used Crazy For Challenges #35 for the sketch as well. Instead of using 2 different papers, like I think the sketch intended to have, I just used the one but used some ribbon to break it up. I liked my strawberry paper too much for this one!
Recipe:
Stamps: Strawberry Picking from Elzybells
Paper: Kraft, Not Quite Navy, Rose Red, Copic White cs, DSP from Magnolia
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Ciaos, White gel pen
Accessories: Oval Nestabilities, Kraft Taffeta ribbon, Rose Red brads
And my final card for this post is for Charisma Cardz #17 to make a girly card with flowers, the sketch from Our Creative Corner's #13, Stampin' Royalty's Challenge #17 to use punches (I used 3 different punches, 2 dies and my crop-a-dile), Color Throwdown's #90 to use Barely Banana, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Pale Plum and finally for SCS' Free For All's #10 to use flowers. Phew!!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Polka Dot Punches from SU (retired)
Paper: Barely Banana, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Pale Plum, Cottage Wall DSP
Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Pale Plum
Accessories: Old Olive twill (from old mini), Scallop Trim Border Punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Circle Nestabilities and my Crop-a-dile for the tiny circles!
That's all these ones done. My next post will show all the In Love With Stamping challenges I did this weekend so be sure to check those out too!
