These are just a few cards I've done for some more challenges this week.
The first one is for Just Magnolia's #67 to use acetate on a project, for Free For All #23 to over-embellish one or more sides of a card and I used the sketch from Mojo #33 for the layout. I wanted my Dragonfly Tilda to look like she was running through a field of pretty flowers and I think I kind of got it!
Recipe:
Stamps: Dragonfly Tilda from Magnolia
Papers: Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Perfect Plum, Copic White, Night & Day DSP for the acetate sheet, Basic Gray Kioshi DSP
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Martha Stewart Cornice Border Punch, Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon, Purple Brads, Three For You Punch, Prima Flowers, Diamond Stickles
My next card is for Stacey's Curtain Call #42 to use Pear Pizzazz (I subbed with Certainly Celery), Peach Parfait (I subbed with Groovy Guava), Early Espresso (I subbed with Chocolate Chip) and Very Vanilla (didn't need to sub this one :P). I also used Mojo #65 for the layout.
Recipe:
Stamps: Trendy Trees from SU, Fancy Flourishes from PTI
Papers: Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Groovy Guava DSP
Inks: Certainly Celery ink and marker, Chocolate Chip, Groovy Guava
Accessories: Groovy Guava ribbon, Word Window Punch, Certainly Celery brads
And my final card is for Papertrey Peeps #13 to use lots of colours, lots of layers, mixed patterns and decorate the inside. I also used Mojo #3 for the layout and CC114 to use Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal and optional Green Galore! Although this is a very bright combo I loved this card! I'm also entering it in Papertake's Something...challenge. I have something old - the retired DSP, something new - my new stamp set and matching die, nothing borrowed unfortunately and something blue - well turquoise but it's a shade of blue right?!
Recipe:
Stamps: Butterfly Dreams, Asian Fusion both from PTI
Papers: Apricot Appeal , Green Galore, Whisper White, Rainbow Sherbet DSP
Inks: Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal
Accessories: Butterfly die from PTI, Rose Red grosgrain, Buttons from Papermania
And that's all for today folks! I'll be posting some cards later with some more yummy new stuff so be sure to come back and check those out too.
