Some new PTI stamps!

My lovely lovely friend Amy went to Chicago last week to visit the CHA show as a special birthday treat and she asked if I wanted any PTI goodies bringing back - well duh! Of course I did - I just had to limit myself with what I wanted though so I tried to get a bit of everything. I got 6 new stamp sets including the limited edition CHA set Four of A Kind, 5 packs of cardstock, 6 packs of buttons, 2 impressions plate, 6 dies and 3 packs of felt! All of it is so fabby! And here are just a few cards made with some of the new sets! I also made a card here with my new All Booked Up set and matching die as well (the last card on that very long post).

This first card uses Fancy Flourishes and Mega Mixed Messages which were two of my new ones and A Year of Violets which was one of Amy's that is now on my "to get" list as it's just so much prettier than I thought. This one is for Our Creative Corner's sketch #27, Stampin' Royalty's #31 to create your own DSP and for CC24 to use Orchid Opulence, Elegant Eggplant and Certainly Celery.

Recipe:

Stamps: A Year of Violets, Mega Mixed Messages

Papers: Orchid Opulence, Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery all from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, Elegant Eggplant, Versamark

Accessories: Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon, Mini Tag punch both from SU, Large Scallop Border die, Tin Types Impressions plate both from PTI, Diamond Stickles, Clear Embossing Powder

My next two cards use the special CHA set, Four of A Kind. This set is just so gorgeous! This first one is for SC292 and for Just Add Ink's #29 to use Rose Red, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla and Kraft. I'm not overkeen on this sketch but I guess you gotta try it to see if you like it!

Recipe:

Stamps: Four of A Kind

Papers: Rose Red cs & DSP, Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, Kraft, Tea & Crumpets DSP

Inks: Rose Red, Always Artichoke

Accessories: Very Vanilla Tafetta ribbon

And my final card is a bit of a copy of a sample made by the PTI DT team, of which Amy showed me a photo. I loved the idea of the two-tone flowers so copied them for this card. This one is for Color Throwdown's #104 to use Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight, but I haven't got any of that yet so used Summer Sun instead. I used old Mojo #11 for the layout and I'm entering it for Free For All's #24 to use flowers.

Recipe:

Stamps: Four of A Kind from PTI

Papers: Old Olive, Summer Sun, Stampers Select White, Haiku DSP (Retired)

Inks: Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Summer Sun

Accessories: Old Olive twill, Orangey dew drops

And finally I have now caught up on all my blogging so hopefully will make my posts a bit shorter from now on!
