I made a few more cards today with some of my PTI stamps and thought I'd share them with you all.
This first one uses a new set that came this week - the only stamp set that wasn't a Christmas one in the box! I used Taylored Expressions sketch #130 for the layout and Just Add Ink's #37 to use Rose Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Always Artichoke. Although I'm not a fan of orange as such I love it when paired with pink and this was no exception. I'm also entering it for SCS Hope You Can Cling To Challenge #3 to make a card without a sentiment. SCS have decided to dedicate a month of daily challenges to make cards for the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and I hope to be able to do every one of them and send all the cards I make off to them to raise money for this fab cause!
Recipe:
Stamps: Flutterby Friend, Turning A New Leaf
Papers: Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP
Inks: Rose Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Always Artichoke
Accessories: Rose Red 1" stitched grosgrain ribbon, Pumpkin Pie 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, corner rounder, clear gems from Papermania
My next one is for Papertake Weekly's sketch, SCS Hope You Can Cling Challenge 2A to create a pink holiday card. I love using pastel colours for Christmas cards and this design is definitely going to be my cards for this year - I jut love it! It's also for Sweet Stampin's #46 to use punches or die cuts. I thought I'd enter this one in A Passion For Papertrey's square card challenge as well.
Recipe:
Stamps: Signature Christmas, Background Basics: Christmas
Papers: Kraft, Lavender Moon, 2008 Bitty Dot Basics (all PTI), Whisper White (SU)
Inks: Lavender Moon (PTI), Whisper White (SU)
Accessories: Lavender Moon Polka Dot Ribbon, Linen Impression Plate, Silver Elastic Cord from stash, Stocking Prints Die, PInk Glittered and White Glittered felt from Hobbycraft
My next one is for Just Us Girls #53 for the layout and for Papertrey Posse's #8 to be inspired by fall colours. I used New Leaf, Chocolate Chip and Terracotta Tile for mine.
Recipe:
Stamps: Wise Owl
Papers: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White (SU), New Leaf, 2009 Bitty Dot Basics (PTI)
Inks: Chocolate Chip ink and marker, Close To Cocoa marker, Really Rust marker, Pumpkin Pie marker, New Leaf ink
Accessories: Twine from stash, New Leaf button
And my final card is for Sweet Sunday's sketch #87 and SCS Hope You Can Cling Challenge 2C to use pink and brown.
Recipe:
Stamps: Fancy Flourishes, Beautiful Blooms II, Embellishments
Papers: Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla (all SU), Lush DSP from My Mind's Eye
Inks: Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette
Accessories: Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon, Scalloop Trim Punch, 3/4" circle punch, Brown Dew Drops (although they're not very brown!), Tin Types Impressions Plate (but you can't see it that well).
And that's all for this post folks! Why not check out the Hope You Can Cling To forum here on SCS and join in!
