To celebrate the release of the new Stampin' Up catalogue yesterday I thought I'd show you a few more bits I made for my workshop next week. There are lots of absolutely gorgeous stamp sets, so many more ribbons and DSP than before and with the new colour renovation there are new sets of brads and buttons! If you would like a copy of the new catalogue for just £4.95 including P&P, drop me an email at saffivort@yahoo.com and I'll get one in the post to you straight away.
Anyway on to the projects...
This first card is for SC300 and CC290 to use Basic Gray, Rose Red, Daffodil Delight and one other colour of your own choice - I went with Pear Pizzazz. I love this new green. It's a bit greener than Certainly Celery but still nice and light.
Recipe:
Stamps: Ornate Flowers (new), Thank You Kindly
Papers: Rose Red, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz (new), Greenhouse Gala DSP (new)
Inks: Rose Red, Basic Gray, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Daffodil Delight 3/8" taffeta ribbon (new)
My next card is not a challenge one this time. I always make a set of thank you cards for the ladies at my workshops and usually try out a couple of designs before deciding, but I think this one is the one I'm going to use. Really quick and simple to make too.
Recipe:
Stamps: Dot Dot Dot, Cute By The Inch (new hostess set)
Papers: Melon Mambo (new-ish), Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla
Inks: Regal Rose, Melon Mambo (new-ish)
Accessories: Scallop Square Punch, Pearls from Pretties Kit (no longer available in the kit, but are now available separately - yay!)
My next card is the thank you card that didn't get picked :( but I am going to use these for my next set of swaps as I love the colours!
Recipe:
Stamps: Razzle Dazzle (new), Thank You Kindly
Papers: Perfect Plum, Very Vanilla, River Rock (new)
Inks: Perfect Plum, River Rock (new)
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon
My next project is a hanging triangular box, ideal for putting bags of sweets or other small gifts into. Excuse the dodgy photo, but this was the only place I could find with a good enough light to photograph the box.
Recipe:
Stamps: None
Papers: Chocolate Chip Textured cs, Christmas Jingle Scrapping Kit
Inks: None
Accessories: Filigree Brads, Real Red Satin Ribbon
And my final project is not 100% SUO. All of the supplies are from Stampin' Up but the template itself is from PTI. I love this box and the colours are just beautiful together!
Recipe:
Stamps: Baroque Border wheel
Papers: Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft), Rich Razzleberry (new-ish), Pink Pirouette (new)
Inks: Crumb Cake (new), Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Oval Punch, Silver Brads, Pink Pirouette ribbon (not available)
And that's all for today folks! I'll be back tomorrow with a few more projects. Today is actually World Card Making Day and SCS has some fab challenges in their forum, so I'll be doing those tomorrow. (They were uploaded a bit too late for me to get started on them today, but luckily I have a whole month of daily challenges to do for a charity drive that SCS are doing!)
