Last cards of my holiday

Today is the last day of half term (boo hoo!), which means I have to go back to work tomorrow morning, although we do have 2 training days on how to teach Ruth Miskin phonics language programme! (No idea why I have to have this as I have no intention on ever being in KS1 so won't be teaching it, but hey ho!)

These are the last few cards for the Hope You Can Cling To Charity drive that has been happening all month on Splitcoast Stampers. The idea behind this one is that each day a different challenge is set, we make a card for it then we send all the cards for the challenge to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas so they can sell them and raise money for cancer research and treatment. Such a fantastic cause and I now have a huge box of cards to sort out and send off.

My first one is for HYCCT#28 to make a card for a girlfriend with the idea of spending time together. I also used the sketch from Sweet Stampin' and the colour combo CC291 to use Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron and Tangerine Tango.

Recipe:

Stamps: Everyday Button Bits from PTI, Romeo & Juliet from Elzybells

Papers: Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Petals & Paisley DSP (retired)

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Markers in Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz

Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Tangerine Tango ribbon, Buttons from stash, Oval Nestabilities, Zoomz (like Dew Drops)

My next card is for HYCCT29 to make the sentiment the only stamping on a card. I used Taylored Expressions sketch #132 and Curtain Call #54 to use Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Very Vanilla and Pumpkin Pie - a very Autumnal colour choice, but I went for a different idea.

Recipe:

Stamps: Wishing You from Verve

Papers: More Mustard cs & DSP (from retired hostess pack), Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Sweet Pea DSP (retired)

Inks: More Mustard

Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Circle and Lace Circle Nestabilities, Boho Blossoms Punch, Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon

My next card is for HYCCT30 which was the sketch. I also used the inspiration photo from the Our Creative Corner Challenge. I used the soft colours of pale yellow, vanilla and light brown for the basis of my card.

Recipe:

Stamps: Because I Care

Papers: Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Very Vanilla all from SU, Linen Closet DSP from DCWV

Inks: Crumb Cake, SU Markers in So Saffron & Pear Pizzazz

Accessories: So Saffron grosgrain ribbon, Labels 14 Nestabities, Heart gems from Papermania

And the last challenge for the Hope You Can Cling Challenge was to make card inspired by one of the photos from the Etsy Treasury. I chose the Wonderland Fairytale treasury and used the A Time for Roses photo for my inspiration.

Recipe:

Stamps: En Francais, Vintage Vogue, Curly Cute

Papers: Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla

Inks: Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink

Accessories: Pink Pirouette ribbon, Brads from stash, Eyelet Border Punch, Corner Rounder Punch

And my final card for today is not for the Hope You Can Cling challenges. Instead it is for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge to use light brown, pink and pale blue, for Sweet Sunday's Sketch #91 and for Just Add Ink's #41 to Just Add Birthdays.

Recipe:

Stamps: Whimsical Words (retired SAB set), Birthday Anya from The Greeting Farm

Papers: Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Soft Sky DSP, Copics White

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Beaded Oval Nestabilities, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Small and Large Tag Punches, Flowers, Vine and Flourish set from Sizzix, Crystal Light Baubles from Stamping Bella

And that's all from me today folks. Thanks for stopping by!
