It's time for another fabby VSN over on SCS this weekend, so guess what I've been doing?! I tell you I have made a heap of cards and am now completely crafted out. I managed all of them except for 3 - 1 I didn't want to do (it used the soot stamping technique and me and fire and card don't go well together hehe) and the others I just ran out of craftiness for, but luckily all the cards have to be uploaded by Monday 7pm EST so I can get them done after work tomorrow!
On to Friday's challenge cards then...I have combined so many other challenges with these (VSN's a good excuse to use some of the SCS colour and Mojo sketch challenges I haven't yet done!) and all the details will be in my SCS gallery if you wish to look.
Challenge A - a sketch challenge. I also used Just Add Ink's challenge #57 to use Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and River Rock and for Truly Scrumptious' challenge #51 to use swirls and pearls.
Challenge B was to be inspired by a wedding song. I'm not married (and will probably never get round to it!) but one song I would like for my wedding song is Take That's Greatest Day. I love how beautiful this song is and my inspiration came from the sunset and almost silhouettes in the video. I also used Stampin' Royalty's challenge #60 for the sketch.
Challenge C was to use some kind of bird. I combined tons of challenges for this one: PTI's Make it Monday Challenge #3 to use glittered strips (which I loved so much everything had a glittered strip or glitter glued on the edge!), Mojo #179 for the sketch, CC311 to use Perfect Plum, Rose Red and Always Artichoke and for A Passion for Papertrey's Invitation challenge.
Challenge D was to use 2 or more techniques on a card. Mine were a little cheating I guess - punching, paper piecing and Copic colouring! I also used SC320 for the sketch, Free For All #52 to make a child's birthday card and Free For All #53 to use a tropical theme.
And the last challenge on Friday was challenge E which was to use a red dress on your card/project. This one also uses Just Magnolia's Challenge #95 for the sketch and CC109 to use Real Red, Sage Shadow and Basic Black.
Saturday's Challenges can be found here and here if you want to see what else I made! Thanks for looking folks!
