Papertrey Ink's February 2011 Blog Hop

It's that wonderful time of the month again - Papertrey Ink's Monthly Blog Hop.

This month the challenge is to use scallops. Nichole said "We want to see your best use of scallops, of any sort, on a project!  This can include scalloped borders, offset-scallops, stamped scallops, scalloped mats, scalloped frames, layered scallops, scalloped tags or anything else you can dream up! You can use dies, patterned scissors or even circle punches in a row to achieve your special look."

OK I wasn't overly adventurous, but I did use a scalloped border die and scalloped square nestabilities on mine.

This card is also for  SC321 for the sketch, Paper Pal Arts Challenge #82, which was also to use scallops and for Colour Create's Challenge #65 to choose 3 fruits from the inspiration photo to use as the colours on your card. I chose a melon, a banana and an apple for mine to give me Melon Berry, Lemon Tart and Spring Moss and what a gorgeous combo this turned out to be!

Recipe:

Stamps: Delightful Dahlias from PTI

Papers: Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, Stampers Select White, Distressed Dots DSP, Pretty Pastels DSP all from PTI

Inks: Crumb Cake from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Medium Scallop Border Die, Lemon Tart ribbon, Delightful Dahlias dies all from PTI, Pearls from Papermania, Square Nestabilities
