I needed to do a couple of quick cards tonight - one for my TAs birthday and the other for the same TA to give to her Hubbie on Valentine's day. And as is the norm I manage to squeeze in a couple of challenges too hehe
This first one is for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday challenge - a new challenge set every week on Nichole's blog. This first one was to use sentiments from various different stamp sets and make a worded background. My TA LOVES turquoise so I used a mix of Hawaiian Shores and Early Espresso and came up with this one using the sketch from Walzting Mouse #33.
Recipe:
Stamps: Butterfly Dreams, Signature Greetings, Round and Round, Calendar Basics, Make A Wish, Just The Ticket, Everday Classics, Around & About Sentiments, Take Three: Summer, Mega Mixed Messages, Sign Language, PIece of Cake (and probably some more I can't remember!)
Papers: Hawaiian Shores, Stampers Select White both from PTI, Early Espresso from SU
Inks: Hawaiian Shores from PTI, Early Espresso from SU, Copics
Accessories: Butterfly die from PTI, Early Espresso satin ribbon from SU, Diamond Stickles
My next one is a remix of a card I did last month. My TA saw the anniversary card I did for my BF here and wanted one for her Valentine's day card to her husband. Now, I couldn't copy it exactly as that wouldn't be fair on my boyfriend, so I changed it slightly and used the colours from CR84FN14 instead.
And here's my take on these colours:
Recipe:
Stamps: Mat Stack 2 Collection from PTI, Happy Heart Day (retired), I {Heart} Hearts both from SU
Papers: Pink Passion (retired), Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip all from SU, Stampers Select White, Simple Valentine DSP both from PTI
Inks: Pink Passion (retired), Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip all from SU
Accessories: Mat Stack 2 die from PTI, Chocolate Chip satin ribbon (retired) from SU, Brads from Papermania, Hearts Embossing Folder from Crafts Too, Icicle Stickles
And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by!
