Flowers and Easter

Despite being completely bunged up with a cold (possibly the flu!) and a nice booming cough I still had to play today. Work's been very stressful this week and I needed some well deserved crafting stress relief!

My first card for today is for A Passion for Papertrey's Piece Out Man Challenge, using SC323 for my layout, CC313 to use Concord Crush, Bashful Blue and Pear Pizzazz and for Free For All Challenge #55 to have interesting edges!

Recipe:

Stamps: In Bloom, Asian Fusion both from PTI

Papers: Pear Pizzazz cs and DSP from hostess pack, Concord Crush cs and DSP from hostess pack, Whisper White, Bashful Blue DSP (retired) all from SU

Inks: Basic Black, Bashful Blue both from SU

Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Concord Crush ribbon both from SU

My next card is for Mojo Monday Challenge #181 for the layout and Color Throwdown's Challenge #132 to use Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Soft Sky.

Recipe:

Stamps: Birthday Surprise from Verve, Fancy Flourishes from PTI

Papers: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Soft Sky DSP (retired), Elegant Soiree DSP, Sunny Garden DSP all from SU

Inks: Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze both from SU

Accessories: Daffodil Delight ribbon, Scallop Trim Border Punch both from SU, Limited Layers 1 3/4" Circles Collection, Beautiful Blooms Dies #2 both from PTI, Button from stash, Pearls from Quixotic Paperie, Yellow Baker's Twine from The Ribbon Reel

My next card is my first Easter card! I usually end up making quite a few of these, as my MIL sends them as well. This one is for Farm Fresh Friday's colour challenge to use green, blue and yellow, for Just Add Ink's Challenge #59 for the layout and for Paper Pal Arts challenge #84 - Easter Inspiration.

Recipe:

Stamps: Easter Anya from The Greeting Farm, A Good Egg from SU

Papers: Old Olive, Baja Breeze both from SU, Copics white, Yellow DSP from Kaisercraft, Green DSP from Cosmo Cricket

Inks: Old Olive from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Oval punches, Baja Breeze ribbon (retired) all from SU

And my final card for today is for Viva La Verve's Sketch #3 for March and Colour Create's Challenge #66 to use olive, brown, black and cream. My copics didn't like this Very Vanilla paper at all - I wish Copics would do a cream as well as their white card, which is just perfect for colouring with copics!

Recipe:

Stamps: Bunny Duet from Verve, A Good Egg from SU

Papers: Old Olive, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Jolly Holiday DSP all from SU

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, White gel pen

Accessories: Soft Suede ribbon (retired), Oval Punches, Scalloped Edge Punch all from SU, White Opal Liquid Pearls

And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow I'm off on a PTI crafting day with a group of friends down in Watford which should be fantastic fun! I'll be uploading all the shoebox swaps and card candy later on this week, if not tomorrow when I get back, so be sure to come on over and have a look!
