This first one is for Friday MashUp's Challenge# 66 to use Circles and/or Marina Mist, Basic Black, Red, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi all in honour of the Olympics and for A Passion for Papertrey's Olympics Challenge as well. We've been doing the Olympics at school since half term, so 4 weeks of it now and I've had enough of them and the real thing hasn't even started! (Although I have really enjoyed teaching Ancient Greek myths for Literacy!). I was inspired by the Olympics rings on this one and based my layout on them and added stars to each "ring" in the same colours. Love how this one came out!
Anyway here's my effort...

My other card is for Make It Monday's Challenge #73 to stamp on patterned paper, Papertake Weekly's Anything Goes Challenge and F4A124 to use wood, either an image or a real piece of wood. I used my Trendy Trees with wooden tree trunks(!) and my woodgrain impression plate to add a bit of texture to it as well. A different card from my usual style, but I quite like the idea of stamping on patterned paper like this.

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by.
